This episode is so wonderful. Daniel just put the statue on display without backseating, Emily's blue hair (and red dress) has been acknowledged - a joke I have been waiting for since the first episode - and he continues to stomp me with how exceedingly efficient he is at this game

I was actually sort of mad when he broke up with Sebby and that was when I'd realized I'd grown way too invested in the Stardew Valley streams and needed to step back a little. Still some of the best content I've watched in a while

Somebody on a previous video said that RT’s Walter White impression was completely inaccurate. Between then and now, I’ve watched three seasons of Breaking Bad and can confirm that RT’s impression is, in fact, spot on and perfect

3 prismatic shards AND a lucky ring, all in winter year 1?
I cannot even fathom that kind of luck. The lucky ring is so difficult to get, yet so powerful. Took me an entire season to get 2 of them, using every end-game min-max buff I could to manipulate the chance. Insanity.
Also, watching this series gave me an itch to start a new farm. Trying out Stardew Valley Expanded, which has been pretty good so far.

Well it isn't too unbelivably lucky to get 3 shards since RT figured out a somewhat efficient way to do skull caverns runs. Getting luck ring from crates at skull caverns in so few runs is kinda lucky tho
It took me 4 years to find one 💀
Pro tip for farming lucky rings: If you find one through panning and you need one more, stay in the area you're already in. Panning spot items are determined by the tile they're on, so if another panning spot spawns on the same spot as the first, you'll get another lucky ring.

IDK if RT will ever see this but if he kept dating and eventually married Sebby, he would have been able to actually help on the farm and sometimes gives you food in the morning, and eventually, you can make the business multi generational

I don't really understand how, but RT's series of Stardew Valley roleplaying as Walter White are some of the most heartwarming and cathartic videos on CZcams.

I just started playing this game myself and I'm just impressed with how fast he's progressing. Though I think that's because he's been neglecting interactions with the villagers to focus on making money.
That, and he just has some insane luck on his side.
It's kinda crazy how well his efficiency worked since now he really does have the money and time to go ham on relationships

Im on year 3 and i’ve gotten 10 iridium ore vein on floor 17
A luck ring is the best item in the game. They can also stack.
Lucky ring is a pretty new item, just added in version 1.5. It gives +1 luck, similar to the food buffs but permanent instead of timed. Might not sound like much but daily luck is between -0.1 and 0.1, and the charm gives +0.025, and the rings can stack with more rings and food
@@noah1535 To clarify, there are two distinct kinds of luck. Daily luck is different from luck buffs. They affect some of the same things, but also some different things. The special charm affects daily luck, and the numbers you gave for daily luck are correct. The lucky ring and buffs from food are a separate system though, not directly comparable, as they use different units. The +1 from a lucky ring is not equivalent to +1 in daily luck, otherwise that would be insane since the best luck day with the charm is 0.125 daily luck. Lucky rings are awesome, just not as insanely good as those numbers appear to show.

To be fair, after pepper rex (the dinosaurs) was added in skull cavern the eggs are no longer rare, it's a 10% drop

@@locktock9 they used to be among the rarest items in the game at less than 1% chance from mountain artifact spots or fishing chests, until 1.4 when Pepper Rexes were added to Skull Cavern with a 10% drop chance. One prehistoric floor in Skull Cavern basically gurantees an egg

@@FirebaII0 Pierre has a heart event cutscene where the player catches him with a "secret stash". It is never specified what was in the stash, but one could say it's full of BLUE PRODUCT
It's actually crazy how incredible RT is at the production side of this game. I haven't done in 3 years what he's done in 1.
I was also surprised that I wasn’t hitting that same level of passive income until a season after him despite having played the game before. Then I remembered that he spent an hour of real time hand-watering 150+ blueberries.

RT is an ally. If he doesn't want to pursue men in video games because he's not attracted to men, he's more than welcome to. He could also just not like making relationships in video games, which is okay too.

binging this series back to back really emphasises how little Walter actually talked to Sebastian and not just the Sebby in his head
I'm reminded on my time on a Harvest Moon clone on something called BYOND. You got experience just for making use of your tools, even if they didn't do anything, so winter was a matter of just repeatedly tapping the item use button for your first few levels so you could just ignore the "get random useless crap" stage of the game. Good times.

If you divorce a character in this game they genuinely refuse to speak to you being only something like "..." if I remember correctly
you can only undo that if you wipe their mind to reset your relationship back to 0 hearts and no interactions

@@prince_nox I mean, Dan did comment early on how it's kinda creepy that we roll up into town and know everything about everyone's daily lives in this game. We move in, start a farm, and know where everyone will be at every waking moment of their lives, and their favorite things are, as well as their dreams and aspirations. It's kinda monstrous if you think about it a little too hard.
Hoping this isn't the end of the series - I've watched the whole thing through a good few times now since I can't find anyone else who manages to hook me on watching a man cook meth in a farming game for 3 hours.

Pls continue, I made the mistake of quitting the game with similar progress to yours since I thought I had seen most of what the game has to offer, but it’s actually like 60% even with all this stuff. Finish the community center and find ginger island! The business must go on
