- Scala & Kolacny Brothers' "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was recently featured in the documentary Montage of Heck. An authorized documentary on the late musician Kurt Cobain, from his early days in Aberdeen, Washington to his success and downfall with the grunge band Nirvana.

One of the most powerful scenes I've watched in a documentary following his mother's words that nothing will ever be the same once they released the album.
that and the scene of his childhood dog running down the street with "something in the way" playing the background.

Totally agree...this was the climax and high- point in the movie where everything changes...kind of like selling their souls....and him mom was right....he was NOT ready to handle what was about to happen. Death durge for sure... :-(

This scene brought me to my knees and caused tears to flow uncontrollably. I was addicted to heroin and this scene just reminded me how I thought I was the shit up on my big ego throne, but in reality I was hopeless and lonely. A controlled disaster. It's a bottomless pit. With help I pulled myself out of it. Some fall so deep they cant even see the edge anymore :(

I can’t tell you how hard I cried at this scene. It’s honestly the most perfect way to talk about the song and the impact it had without saying a single word and then then never really talking about it in the rest of the documentary. I think the best way to describe it is haunting.

this documentary made me realise how much I still love this man and what a big influence on my life he has been.
I cried on this scene, it's just so painful.
seeing kurt smash that guitar in slow motion has me feeling some type of way and i want to cry, his music has inspired me so much throughout the years and wherever he is i hope he's at peace now and i am so sorry that your light had to burn out so young kurt we miss you so much

As a 50-year-old guy. These lyrics written put to that score bring the meaning home, the reflection is immense, from it you hear Kurt's voice inside properly and perhaps now it would resonate with his emotions at a specific time. There is a lot of pain but an amazing amount of beauty and a sense of distress.

@bastianobastian5854 De la propia boca de Kurt, el consumia drogas porque sufria de una enfermedad estomacal severa, el lo revela, dice "me dolia tanto el estomago q lo unico que aliavaba el dolor eran las drogas, asi q por eso las tomaba" la entrevista esta aqui en YT buscala como "kurt cobain ibs". Mucha gente cree q Kurt se suicido por el uso de las drogas, y si en parte fue asi, pero su uso de drogas fue para aliviar el dolor de la enfermedad, pueden haber personas q no lo crean, este escenario es el q mas hace logica y va de acorde a las entrevistas que dio kurt y como relata el estado de su salud.

I don't understand the admiration for this choir. They sing beautifully, but it is imitative and sometimes kitsch. Selecting songs and creating covers based on them does not bring anything new to choral performances and vice versa, for these songs it is also nothing new. I am sure that these girls would fit much better in a more ambitious repertoire.
