I really loved this round up!! I actually scaled back on eye palettes this year and got more into cream shadows. I loved that tarte made your list because I do reach for it daily. I’d love to see a cream eyeshadow ranking from you. 🙏🏽😊

I’m so behind in video watching. I love your collection. I have many of the same palettes, however, I didn’t splurge for your #1 choice. It is certainly lovely! ❤️ I love how thoroughly you go through each palette and talk about the special textures or shades. My top palette this year is the new Huda. I adore it. It excites me every time I open it up.
Huda is the one that surprised me the most this year!! So so good!!! ❤️❤️
Don’t think I would be able to decide which of my palettes I love the most, try to keep them rotating, so none of them feels left behind 🤣!

Thé Vanity palette is my favourite, I was never good at makeup, but this one gave me a a-ha moment. It almost self taught me what it means to blend out a colour with another colour, if that makes sense. I felt like I couldn’t screw up my makeup. I looked at it and everything I heard people say, ex. Colour story , blendability, mid tone shade , crease definition etc. ,those terms all made sense with this one. It actually helped me use my other palettes in a cohesive way

Oh so glad you love the Vanity makeup one!! It truly is amazing.. it is however already so expensive.. having to pay extra taxes on top of that would make my stomach hurt😳

I did not get the Zendo midi. The reviews were lackluster and I had those colors in Urban Decay’s Born to Run.
AI love the taupey shades too. I even got a zebra taupey sweater that looks so good with it.
Love the Huetopian dream and the Vanity one. Trying to decide which one I will wear tonight for a Christmas event.

Ur eyeshadow looks amazing, i would love to see u in darker contrasting hair and brows in dark brown with some cool undertone, i think u look Great in white clothes, im rly into color analysis atm
I have done some more cool tones lately!! I used to only do warm tones but i’m learning to enjoy the cool tones!
I too enjoy these types of videos. You look beautiful and the eye look is 🔥. My top 3 are Pat McGrath Heutopian Dream, Huda Beauty Rose Quartz (wore it Saturday for pictures) and Red Dragon by Odens Eye. The textures and color story reminds me of Morher Pat in all the right ways.
I have never tried Odens Eye.. i honestly have never hear of them!!! I must look into it!!

I didn't buy many palettes this year because I already had almost 80 even after giving away several! However, I am addicted to eyeshadow palettes 😂 and my favorites from this year are definitely Bperfect Tahiti and Antidote palettes! I also love the Huda Jaguar palette too! ❤️ I tried Charlotte Tillbury quads for the first time this year and was honestly disappointed. This was the second time I got a product of hers that I didn't like. I got Pillow Talk and Rebel something (green and gold shades). They were pretty but the pigment just wasn't good. Also her big palette color stories all kind of look alike and for her prices I expect more! From now on I will stick with ND and Pat McGrath when I want luxury makeup.
I do agree that ND and PML surpass Charlotte Tilbury’s eyeshadow palettes! I personally enjoy the small Pillow Talk, but it is waaaay overprices!! I haven’t tried Bperfect palette. Never even hear of them!!! Are they good??
I love these round up videos. I was so adamant I was not going to buy the ABH Primrose but I found myself buying it on sale. I have no issues with fallout with this one surprisingly but I do use Too Faced glitter glue. Now the major disappointment for me was CT celestial pearl which everyone raves over but I get fallout everywhere for the duochrome. I use my fingers with glitter glue but nope it wants to be sparkly concealer - but at least the shift is the same as ABH rose water so I don’t feel I am missing out. Also I gave away VBB tweed which colour and formula wise is beautiful but it smells disgusting like dead baby powder. No one mentions that in reviews and it seems to be just that one as Signature is fine. Edit: thanks for mentioning Patrick Ta’s hard pan which no one mentions. That is a skip for me as I always use my fingers with shimmer and toppers.
I heard one other person mention that the victoria beckham palette smells bad! Mine has no smell. Maybe some of them do, some don’t.🤷♀️ i’m glad the ABH works for you! It’s a beautiful palette❤️❤️
@@TaniaBWells I wonder if it is also a case of some people being more sensitive to particular smells in the tweed VBB as I have now seen Alanna Davidson mention it for the strong ox blood tone colours. So glad I don’t have that issue with the VBB signature!
I love eyeshadow palette's more than anything else. My top 3 would be Retro, Safari, and my Sydney Grace large palette with singles I've made as my perfect palette. Even though I love Natasha, my Sydney Grace is by far my most used. Still dreaming of trying a Pat McGrath but have yet to do so.

My absolute fave eyeshadow palette this year hands down would be the Huda Beauty rose quartz, and I wasn’t even into cool tones before that. I just find that it makes my green eyes really stand out and the formula is very nice. The one that for away would be the Danessa Myricks lightwork vol 3 palette 😭 I have my fingers crossed it might come back somewhere and I can still pick it up 🤞🏼 Have a great week ❤️❤️❤️

@@TaniaBWells 4 colors barely showed on my skin and I’m very fair and the beautiful glittery shades looked surprisingly similar on me. I could only create 2 looks with this palette and at that price point I much rather a Pat quad, which I end up getting (interstellar icon)🤣
Nope that KVD Edge of Reality came out in 2020. I know because I bought it when it was on sale and used a $10 birthday coupon last December. Sadly, I still haven't used it! I do have the ND Retro palette and use it quite a lot 💓💓💓

SO many great palettes released lately, crazy how lackluster the first half of the year was compared to these past few months. I’ve yet to see a bad review on the Vanity makeup palette, it really was a surprise.

Okay first of all, ty for all the work u put into your videos. Im older and just got into beauty YT channels the past couple years. The first year was Mac, I must've been watching a lot of older videos....lol, so I bought most of the singles. The next year i had gotten about 20 colourpop pallets, and a handful of other brands, Then last year was Sydney Grace i got a lot of singles and a couple pallets, love them! This year was Natasha Denona. i got 1 mini, and a little more than a handful of Midis, and during these sales I even picked up Biba, and a handful of other brands including Pat Mcgrath. I have to say, I don't get it. I mean they''re beautiful. I got Celestial Odyssey and DR2, but I don't think they perform anywhere as good as SG or ND. I was very disapointed. I got the DR2 in first and was disapointed so I didn't even use the Celestial Odyssey, so I contacted them to see if I could return them both, because even at holiday pricing there VERY expensive as you know. To my surprise they gifted them both to me. I was shocked. what great customer service. So I did try the other pallet and still not impressed. I will keep playing with it tho, because with customer service like that and the rave reviews I want to love them. I do love there concealor and under eye setting powder though. Anyways sorry that was so long! Happy Holidays!
I have never tried the Sydney Grace shadows! I heard they are amazing! I personally absolutely love the PML palettes! I think it’s the intensity of the shimmers that i love so much! Natasha Denona Biba is just stunning😍😍
@@TaniaBWells I’d suggest the pallets. The Enduring Love Or Mel’s Tiny Marvels. It’s really hard to make yourself grab singles when you have allot of pallets, or to me it is. They’re singles are really nice though!

The coral shade in The utopia pat mcgrath did u try it as a blush with a stipple brush? As it look in camera it looks like it would suit u, did u try the dynessa myricks balm contour in one? I love that one atm
I tried the Danessa Myricks contour in light 2! And it seems to work so well on my skintone. I have not tried that PM shadow as a blush… i think it would be beautiful!!!😍😍

Omg I completely forgot about the palette. It is in my makeup kit for work and I forgot to take it out! I would say the palette is amazing, so it would have to be in my top 10. i don't use it in my day to day makeup since it is a very colorful palette!

I don’t have a top palette, but my top brand for the year is hands down PML. Loved almost everything that I have purchased. Hi I don’t like the colour story of deep space divinity.
Pat McGrath really has done such amazing palettes this past few years!! Just amazing!! I never tried the space divinity.
If you could only have one would it be the Natasha Denona face dark palette or Patrick ta eyeshadow palette. I’m more into color but love both. Kinda like look of highlighter in dark palette. 🤔I’m thinking the Natasha Denona will win. Help me decide!
The good think is the ND has face products as well. If you are looking only for eyeshadows i would go with Patrick Ta. Has lots of options and lots of textures, but if you are in need of some face products, then ND is amazing!!!

Interesting! I know the color patty was a bit of a letdown for me but the rest they worked so well. What shades did not work out for you?
@@TaniaBWells yes, patty was the worst, actually. It is so patchy, like I really couldn't make it work. The lightest matt was a disappointment, and those beautiful metallic shades, the shinest, they so mcuh emphasize wrinkles on my eyelids like...I never knew my eyelids look so old :) I mean. normally they don't, but with these yeshadows they somehow do...SO to me this palette is very inconsistent in performance - some shades are good, some OK, and some just terrible
The zendo color story is a disaster, but the colors alone are beautiful. Really a shame
