It's Bristol Month
In 2015, I traveled in an RV from my home in N.J. all the way down to Bristol to see the night race. I’ll tell you more about my journey as we get closer to your trip
My family did the same in 2004 but from Delaware. It was awesome
I've been to the last 12 straight races at Bristol but I won't be there for this Night Race because I joined the Air Force a few months ago and now I live in Texas :( oh well at least I will get to go to Texas Motor Speedway. Also I'm from Knoxville
Will Eubanks sorry you can’t go this year. However, thank you for your service.
Bristol local. Thanks for your service in enlisting to protect our country and hope you can come back to Knoxville & East Tennessee soon. Safely.
@@jamesdb7115 I appreciate your support 👍
@@DannyBTalks I appreciate your support 👍
I'll be there from Milwaukee. Were stopping at Indy along the way, then stopping in Nashville, and then taking a detour to Charlotte before coming back to Bristol for all three races.
As a person who lives in Bristol you pretty much nailed it.
I am thinking about moving to Tennessee in the future
Trenton Geth I live in Bristol it’s a great place not a whole lot to do, but it’s a fun town, so many great people are here and there is a lot of fun events here!
@@tripplively1065 agree. Bristol is the more quiet area of East TN. But we're growing.
I moved here from a tiny city called Milford in Delaware. Knoxville is the more lively city of East Tennessee. I enjoy East TN. So much so explore and that's 1/3 of the state. Great people too.
So Trenton, you have some good Tennesseeans here if ya ever decide and need advice. 🤘
Thanks for the info if I’m ever able to go to Bristol, which I’d of course love too. Great vid Danny B
I will be there for the night race and I can't wait
Best
Intro
*Ever*
Danny, I loved the intro with BFM. I'll keep this video in mind for next year
I’m so damn PUMPED for this trip!
I live very close to Bristol and BMS so I have the fortunate pleasure of being able to go to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, eating at Pal's all the time, and the Blackbird Bakery. I love this area and everything it has to offer. To anyone traveling from elsewhere, have fun in the Bristol area and experience all it has to offer
Ive been to 12 nascar tracks and the bristol atmosphere is the best. Everyone is nice and just having a good time
Haha! Pals!
Not far from the speedway is FlipSide arcade. I always stop in when I’m in town.
I live in Bristol and you explained everything right, can’t wait to be there for the race hopefully I can meet you!
Thanks for the video! I'm thinking of visiting my uncle who lives in Knoxville and heading to the Bristol Night Race this year and this really gave me a good idea of some possible plans for that week/weekend. JP's NASCAR Outlet and Pal's Restaurant are definitely going to be on the top of the list if I'm able to go. 👍
You picked the right job getting into sales
I'll be there, I've been to JP's I even remember what I bought, Chase Elliott's KBB 2018, and Dale Jr.'s 2015 Xfinity TaxSlayer, I'll be rootin' Hendrick!
Came here to say that you hit the nail on the head in this video. I live in Bristol and this would probably be my list if someone were to ask me. Couldn’t recommend South Holston Lake enough. Looove that place.
as someone who lives in bristol go to ridgewood BBQ its a few miles from the track but you will not regret it. see you all at the races :)
I’ve only been to two NASCAR tracks Kentucky and Michigan known as the rained Out race
So, was that the Michigan race this year, because I was at that race too.
Man I am definitely gonna keep this in mind when I go to Bristol some time
Heading to the race on the 16th and 17th thanks
Awesome video
You can hit up Elizabethtown Tennessee. We have a amazing burger restaurant called J's corner.
Hey I’m going to Pigeon Forge on Sunday, Neat!
Man I wish I could go this year.
Unfortunately it just wasn't in the families budget for us to come up there this year.
But hopefully once we get moved we can make the trip next year!
Also, have been up there to the Gaitlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area a few times and even if you're not going up there for race weekend, it's a must stop destination for a nice family vacation.
@dannybtalks Not sure if u remember it or not but I met u at JP'S NASCAR in May this year when Chase Elliott was at the Napa grand opening
big2931 I remember!!!
@@DannyBTalks i still got the t shirt u signed also
You forgot one thing, visiting the Flying Aces CZcamsrs Wheelman and Outlaw
You can also go in a store that is in both Tennessee and Virginia I saw it on google maps once
i live here and yes
I’m going to The Bristol night race! Also you could visit Trevor baynes coffee shop in Knoxville!!
I'll be there
I live in Shelbyville Tennessee
I will be there
If I do, I will definitely let you know
Forgot Ridgewood Barbecue which is the track. Might want to check it out.
4:20 don't know whether to say "NICE" or "blaze it!"
Dude. Dont do me like that (lol) with the Pals frenchie fry and Mcds Burger. Pal's burgers are as bomb . Com. Haha. But if it's the Danny B special then do your thing.
I'll add if one goes to Pals. Get a Peachy Tea or Peachy Mello Yellow. Unique to this local chain. The Sauceburger is unique too. Little cheap good burger.
I'll add the Burger Bar downtown for some good burgers and history. Last place where Hank William's was last seen alive.
Food City Family Race Night is awesome too full of entertainment and driver appearances downtown.
As a tourism guru I love what you did here.
JD Bennett Joe Deal owns, runs burger bar, nice people, good food.
You will
If possible do talledega next
I live in Bristol bro trust me you need to come
Bristol is a good place to live.
Thanks alot Danny B I'm going to the Night race ,but we are leaving straight for the track on Saturday morning ,so does anyone know if JDs Nascar outlet is open on Sundays ?
They are open for a shorter period of time on Sundays.
Wait what about Lenoir City Tennessee you have a great view of the Smokey mountains
Lenoir City is right next to Knoxville
There is a NASCAR store hidden away in Gatlinburg
Where at in Gatlinburg
I live on Bristol
There’s also whitewater rafting about 2 hours from Bristol that’s really fun. I might be a little partial because I work at one of the outfitters but it’s really fun and not overly expensive like most attractions. Check it out at raftinginthesmokies.com
I really be on CZcams watching videos about my own home town lmao
bro facts literally me rn
See my problem is finding an affordable place to stay near the speedway which is hard to do.
