i'll take that deal any day
Absolute lads
Is there any evidence to back up any of his recommendations? Any research I can read ?
Ads not an issue. Just got a deal on YT premium
As a 60kg Weightlifter, i noticed that when I take my creatine monohydrate I snatch around 83kg. When i don't take it i snatch around 82.99kg. So if i take around 50g, i should be snatching 120kg by yesterday ✍🏾🧐🤝🏾.
math checks out
i thought derek had an allergic reaction in the thumbnail
supraphysiological amounts of moonface
Awesome, been waiting for this collab. Alex is the man

Great podcast
this was probably the most interesting/useful by far - great podcast with Alex
I am now going to eat creatine like it's gummy bears
40:40 "suprafridgeological"
Is that when Eoin squats 310?
Hahahaha naw.... he's just stupid
Maybe clip
Okay, intra sex creatine, got it
Algo for Sikastan
Nice
Anyone tried DADA ? how do it feel and whats the dose orally?
What was that morning thing? Can someone spell it out for me please. It just sounds like tortika to me. I know I should probably consume some alpha gpc my brain is not working.
47:35 with his accent he says "TURD kind of shit we had today."
I feel attacked
I maxed out 385 on bench, stopped my daily creatine (4 scoops) and my bench dropped to 365. I worked my way back to 385 without creatine then when i started up on the creatine again for ten days i hit 405... just my personal experience.
Osss 405, big dawg 💪
7:00 EAAs should not taste bad. I use EAA from bulk supplements and it tastes relatively clean, minor bitterness. Easy to overcome with some flavor packets.. I was using OJ but ended up being a lot of calories. so MUCH MORE bang for your buck buying in bulk.
Commenting for algorithm
You set me on a shopping spree for gpc and all the cholinergic stuff ive been on the fence about for months because of bad availability in my county...
(EDIT: btw this video should be more viral given the amount of novel invormation provided. This video title totally undershoots it...)
It's tough to get it right with the title! 🤣
Alex is like a baby Broderick...😉shout out to the algo...!
54:14 what’s the name of that supplement? Selling? Celiné? I just can’t catch it 🙏

Commenting on the wrong video cause I can't find the original but you guys said you aren't a fan of the rise of zercher squatting. Would you mind elaborating on why? The way I see it, it can be a hugely beneficial and pragmatic movement to program. You get the posterior activation of a high bar squat, the upper back recruitment of a front squat and it automatically promotes good knee tracking with almost no mobility demands. What's there to dislike?
I think they said that you don't get the upper back stiffness you would get from reaching back chest up in the high bar. That's just my memory though 😊
Effective range of motion, stress on bicep tendon and elbow joint, most people don't have great squatting mechanics as it is so the zercher makes it even worse for most, off the top of my head
@@sikastrength If you take it to barbell resting on thighs that's well below parallel for most people. Elbow stress seems like a strange remark considering both front squats and (good) high bar squats have a pretty cranked elbow position as well. Bicep tendon I can buy. Last point is also weird. The zercher will promote upright posture, tight upper back and knees tracking out. I really disagree with your take on this 😂
I see L-carnitine being advertised as a fat-burner. Do these suplements with L-carnitine have the same effects you talk about in the video?
Wait, I thought creatin doesn't have an acute effect.
how substances interact in the body is extremely complex. Substances can have a different affect when they are first metablozied and then once they are stored in tissues. CReatines benefits while stored in the muscle are well documented but more acute effects probably haven't been researched as deeply. It also likely just has a much smaller affect acutely. It may not be enough to care for most people but a top level athlete will probably try to squeze out any effects possible even if small.
Holy shit, and here i thought Derek was the Meathead Scientist.
Naw Alex is unlike anyone I've ever met
@@sikastrength he's hella smart for sure, seems like a class act.
Alex is smart guy

The supp industry got so lucky that creatine actually works. The whole rest of it generally doesn’t but there’s always a chance another creatine will come along
I mean there are other supplements that work just with a less dramatic effect which for the majority of people may not be worth it. For an athlete trying to squeeze out every last drop of performance it may be worth it though.
Alpha gpc works incredibly for me. great for cognition and makes aerobic exercise feel significantly easier within 30 min of taking it.
@@TheMortalKombatentinjectable alpha gpc or oral ?
@@morelife6508 oral but 1000mg doses at 99% purity
Im 3 minutes in and this guy is dropping all the words that tell me he is a scam artist. “Bio trauma” anyone who says that wants your money and doesn’t deserve it.
this guy did one show was skinny then did another show and was fat then quit prep on his last 2 shows landed in the er had surgery and blamed the doctors WTF. he ie mental and not a good prep coach
