As a finnish leopard 2a6 crewmember, some of these lines are things that tankers would say. Some lines are completely accurate. Others are... very weird. But war thunder is not accurate game from the start so it doesnt matter. Very glad they added finnish lines
They tend to just come up with one script for the voice lines, then translate it about as directly as possible to each language without really localizing it, which is a shame.

Finnish ex tanker here. And this translation really rusteled my jimmies hardcore. All of these sound like they've been directly translated word-by-word with google translate and thus have terrible language errors. Innumerable errors when it comes to Finnish tank lingo, particularly with the shell types and tank equipment. "Yönäkö" is a direct translation of word "Night" and "Eyesight/vision". Drone = Lennokki, not "Tiedustelija" which refers to a Human scout. The shell types use terrible anglicisms. AP is not "AAA PEE" in Finnish. It's Panssarikranaatti, HEAT = Ontelo(kranaatti) Not bloody "HOO EEE AAA TEE", SABOT = Alikali(iperi), HE = Sirpale(Kranaatti). And my mind was blown when Canister was directly translated into "Bin" or other such empty vessel. The closest thing would be "Kartessi" but "Sirpalekranaatti" already does a similar function when it's literally "Sharpnel grenade". Gaijin. If you're reading this, CONTACT ME. I WILL TRANSLATE ALL OF THIS FOR YOU FOR FREE. This translation is terrible and I couldn't listen to it for any lenght of time in game.
If you make a post on the forums detailing all of the errors I think you can get farther! I also notice a lot of the problems with the dialogue lol, I feel bad for the voice actors who had to do this...
mate I really like your explanation and I think it's allowed to put the cockpit voiceover created by player themselves into the files of warthunder and it will work. I'm a really big fan of Swedish and Finnish line and I really want Swedish and Finnish can make a proper voiceover for the game

I'm very happy that these are finally getting added, but I'm very dissapointed in the way that most of the lines are read. They sound very janky, and some seem to be just plain wrong. An additional minus for the ammo types, since most have a dedicated finnish word to describe them, although I do understand that they probably did it for the sake of clarity for non finnish speakers...
I could do that for Finnish ones, as I haven't checked, if getting hit gets any responses from the crew and from other damaging shots. For other nationalities though most likely not, as I'm not familiar with their languages

you can add feedback, if you know what the actual commands should be. since gaijin has fixed them in the past
