    This is old school detailing, and that’s what I love about this channel Scott. I learned from someone who didn’t have half the products we use now, but you mix the old with the new with no bull. This is a awesome channel.

    I have been watching a few diff vids on detailing. I like my car clean so I bought a new vehicle and I find that Scott is the best of the best when it comes to being practical about detailing. He is my go to guy. I have been cleaning my car and once in a while will do someone elses for them. So I have learned so much especially with products.

    Always enjoy your videos. When you use your blower to remove dust from the crevices and nooks, it blows dust out. But the dust goes somewhere else. To remedy this, I start with my steam gun and spray. Instead of blowing dust everywhere, the steam cools and liquifies on surface contact. The dust bonds onto the liquid and is easily removed by a microfiber towel. Saves me time, especially when dealing with a “pet hair car” or “smokers (ashes) car”.

    This video is proof that Scott eats, drinks, breathes, and sleeps auto detailing. I usually always carried a bucket of water around when I used to clean the leather seats of my old Accord. Never occurred to me to add ONR while cleaning the rest of the interior. While I don't have the blower, I can use my Rigid 4070 to blow off the panels. I already use it to blow off my engine when I wash it and works great. Thank you Scott for another great video!

    Today I Detailed a Mid 2000's Buick Lucerne 4 door off white leather interior. The door panel's were two toned also. Used this method. Used the RV conditioner that can be used for alot of things on the car. It leaves a matte finish on the panel's and dash. Spray on the microfiber towel and wipe on after cleaning. You talked about the RV conditioner it works on alot of surfaces. But don't use it on leather. I clean the leather with coconut milk shampoo and a sponge. In warm distilled water. Wipe dry. Then apply the Mother's VLR and Wieman's leather conditioner. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Wipe the seats dry with a Microfiber towel also. The Wieman's has a lemony smell. It's $4.12 a bottle at Wal-Mart. The Mother's VLR is a great product too. Just something I tried and work's GREAT. Shawn

    • @bradboustead1682
      @bradboustead1682 Před 6 lety

      grey fort If you mean to say protection from UV sun rays, you may want to consider Optimum No Rinse Wash and Wax (green color) as it has some wax in it for extra protection. If you use the Optimum No Rinse Was and Shine (blue color) it leaves some protection behind but you may want to spritz on some type of quick detailer as you dry for extra protection.

      Echo leaves behind such a nice finish on every surface it comes into contact with, mainly due to the sio2 makeup of the product.

Compared to simply green it can cause skin and eye irritation, and has no listed pH... Seems maybe a bit to harsh? Using simply green until I have better knowledge of mothers,at least for my interior and plastics.

      i recommend the mtm hydro low volume foam cannon #14.0349. around the $55 dollar range but if that's too pricey you can buy the cheapo ones from Amazon and switch out the orifice to 1.1mm. make sure you're getting snow foam and not just regular car soap. I recommend Chemical Guy's honeydew snow foam, only $30 a gallon.
