Evie- no. Do NOT get stuck in that “they have enough to handle without me adding to it” loop, ESPECIALLY before you have even asked them! It is a terrible mindset and absolutely not true. If someone isn’t in a place to assist or listen, it’s up to them to speak up.

Ranger can definitely relate to being attacked by a vampire and left without a clue of what happened.
It’s understandable to be afraid of having the answers. Especially when they may lead to things you weren’t prepared to handle, or you’ve already made your peace in your own way.
Sometimes some people are involved in a way that means you cannot speak to them about certain matters. At least, not in the way you’d like. Or without worrying about causing them harm.
(God this reminds me of conversations I’ve had before.)
As someone with trauma relating to loved ones getting angry - I am very glad Evie doesn’t have to deal with that.
(Doesn’t even always mean you don’t trust them, or think they’ll hurt you, mind - just reflexive)
It’s a heavy topic to be certain, but it may help bring Evie some clarity and closure. And help Ranger to be able to talk about it with someone (some traumas get easier to handle when you can talk to multiple people about them, in my experience. Even reach the point you can joke about things that used to break you.)
I’’m really happy these two are reaching this point in their friendship that they feel comfy sharing this, but also really sad they’re suffering.

Fair - it’s a hard topic but at the same time it can help. It’s a dual issue.
Always better to get it out of your head, imo. Helps you think more clearly about the situation as a whole, and things get a lot less louder when they no longer boom solely in your head. (In my experience, anyway - also gods do I feel the “do I want it to happen sooner or never” vibe)
To see Charlotte? Yeah, to put a bullet in her brain, maybe - knowing Ranger. (And Evie’s response makes me think maybe I was right)
It’s okay to be unsure.
It’s completely fair to be afraid of getting this massive wave of information at once compared to easy to digest pieces.
Also very fair to be scared about having new trauma born of old wounds being broken open again. Having to revisit trauma is incredibly hard - and having it come back with a new face can be awful.
Celine is an absolute treasure, doing everything she can to make Evie feel like she and her loved ones are completely safe.
Not crazy at all. It’s entirely understandable to want to know who did terrible things to you, or why - even if it terrifies you.
Ranger is good when it comes to trauma. Not social stuff, but definitely hard stuff.

Edit: I should rephrase ? this to ask how Ranger was attacked, obviously to a point that Charlotte (probably Rachelle) could mem mod them.
From what I remember from Ranger's sessions with Valera, it's less bitten and more blood is needed to modify memories.
