- we are off to a rocky start with the 8530 catching fire due to a bird building a nest under the hood on top of the turbo charger. can't see it from the ground. even after we washed this tractor it went unnoticed. after it was on fire (no damage) I used the water tank and pump to blast the nest out of there but it still had straw and sticks on the manifold. it was smoking again in two minutes as I went up to the shop to check it out more closely. anyway its ok and in the field and we have just short of 200 acres in the ground.

You and your wife's relationship is what everyone should strive for! There aren't enough couples that get along that well and laugh in the process.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Wishing you and your family the best.
Another great vid! We got 3 inches of snow yesterday, here in northern nv. Tahoe got over 6 inches, grrr! Stay safe
Hey Wes, loved the video best part was going through the codes, ''Front inner flood lights.... so, we don't worry about those'' 😆🤣I'm an ag mechanic but grew up farming with equipment from the 70's so i have appreciation for that statement as I've said it several times before thanks for the laughs and glad to see you in the field
I know what you mean on the out of area farmers. Back in the 80 s I seen that many times northern Iowa farmers come down south Iowa and they leave 1 or 2 years later ! Hope you have a good season .
Hi Wess, planting begins, little kids like to turn things, but big kids do also
Great to see the beans going in
We've got some clay ground here in South Louisiana that will make the sparks fly, ive seen alot of guys come and go over the years each one was going to show us how to do it
Good video.
At least you guys are enjoying the trip ha ha
Nice video
Sounds like our ground here in the UK 1foot of silty clay loam then red, yellow and grey clay, and not far away they make house bricks.
Great video today
I think Tim is a good man and a good farmer. I would say that may be Time drove alot of truck this last winter.
Hey, I know that field!👍
👍🏻🍻
How did the bird even fit under there, let alone build a nest, damn.
Good thing you stopped the fire on time.
I have no clue but im about to go a hunting for robins. two eggs in the nest as well. it was in the shop all winter and spring.
Another thing that the non-farming community doesn't understand is, farmers having to deal with critters. Constant battle.
I had a Starling keep building a nest on top of the the motor of my New Holland tractor. Finally after about 25 times of removing it with a coat hanger with a hook bent on the end and a leaf blower. I did what Grandpa would have done. I shot it and hung it on the side of the tractor with baking twine! No more problems with birds.
Also I had mice get on top of the motor of another tractor and build a nest before I caught it. They chewed on a rubber fuel return line. I couldn't get my hands back into it so I could replace it. Was a busy season so I took it to the dealership. It cost me $800.00 to replace a very inexpensive piece of hose. Because they had to the Turbo and everything off of the top of the motor to get down to it.
👍👍
The chatbot is nice to ask stuff
Planting beans with a drill is just an organized pour
There were meters you could retrofit them with a while back .
No planting here in Vermont yet,to cold,to wet
Maybe you have addressed this, but why no auto steer?
Have you ever considered doing something with electroculture wesley?
Our farm had red clay, that’s some sticky soil
Make “ok so” great again!
- The great Wes pandy
What do u mean ur not allowed to put corn on that farm, can u explain
landowner wants to be able to see across field.
Mach 20 VT ing !
Say that screen had a Butterfly on it 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Tim- dude- its diet and excercise time !
Tim must be 9 months pregnant. Congratulations
Ita all God. In the end
Please tell your wife to not talk so much in the videos
Long hours
Cole The Cornstar might need to borrow a tractor from you. I know it’s a long distance from NJ to Iowa🤪.
Wes and crew could fly out there and have it up and running in 2 days or less.
@@mowerjeff8990
Cole says it’s probably a bad cylinder liner. Hopefully oil didn’t mix with coolant and ruin the engine.
@@MustangsTrainsMowers Wes and crew could still have it torn down and put back together in a couple of days
@@mowerjeff8990
But a bad cylinder liner, doesn’t that need a special press to remove and replace?
@@MustangsTrainsMowers nope you can get a specialty tool isn’t much. But a 2x4 will work too.
Worried of the comming locust swarms? Heard ther will be 2 locust swarms this year but dont know were. Take care Wes and family from Sweden
It’s cicadas. They mostly don’t eat much after emergence but when they do, it trees, bushes and brush. They are sap suckers that spend almost all of their lives in the soil until breeding time. Other than the noise and mess they make on windshields they shouldn’t bother farmers to much unless it’s clogging filters and stuff.
We're not getting cicadas this year in New Jersey.
Everyone always says their ground is the most difficult to farm. Especially Pandy
Come on down and and give it a go. I’ll even give you some to entertain me with. Lol.
@@onelonleyfarmer I forgot you know everything about everything and you're the only farmer on the planet who can make a profit.
@@JeffRankin277 chicken shit! Take me up on my offer. I’ll be glad to watch
@@onelonleyfarmer Wow. I must have struck a nerve
@@JeffRankin277 you think to highly of yourself. I’m sitting here watching the raindrops run down the hood of my tractor laughing at a little boy that thinks he has won an argument that he was having with someone who doesn’t give a rats ass about him.

You nee a haircut

TIM is way too skinny!
Farming clay ground sucks
Wes demonstrates how to save $250 or more on a green dealer service call. Check that, millennials. 😂
Get Tim a gym membership.
ye but you got to make him go 😁
Tim is the donut slayer !!!!
