- The United States warned India of potential sanctions after New Delhi signed a 10-year contract with Iran for Chabahar Port that will give India access to landlocked Afghanistan and Central Asia, bypassing Pakistan. A State Department spokesperson said there will be no exemption whatsoever to anyone having trade ties with Iran that is reeling under sanctions over its nuclear programme. Watch the video for more.

Does India really care about the threat of US sanctions anymore? It’s national interests will not change because of US chest pounding and no country can accept US interference in its relationships on an ongoing basis.
India doesn't need to because of its population and still emerging infrastructure. It's the new China.
Whenever USA needs medicines, or oil, or services, India then has to charge 10 times as much; or maybe give USA the finger and sell them nothing.
