    As a Bruneian, I HIGHLY recommend you try C.A Mohammed's Nasi Briyani, there are multiple outlets in Brunei!, Iskandar Curry House's Roti with ALL their condiments available at One Riverside, you can also easily spot Crocs near the river here, My Town Restaurant in Seri Batu Satu since you liked the Mee goreng basah you should try their Wa Tan Hor or Wa Tan Hor Tomato, Rojak ABC from Lee Loi Fat in Kiulap, Kolomee Duck/Chicken from Kedai Kopi D'Harith at Jaya Setia and that's all I can come up with atm! Have a nice time in Brunei

      What have the people of Brunei not yet realized apart from eating?

    • @lilbeaniecat
      @lilbeaniecat Před 2 lety +1

      @@excelsior31107 Well, it's a small and frankly quite boring country, there isn't much to do but eat, aside from the nature, it's the food, the other things i'd recommend is going to Jerduong Park, it's an amusement park, Seria Energy Lab, formerly know as The Oil and Gas Discovery Centre, it's a place to learn and play, learning and fun all combined for an educational yet fun experience, It's very far for me, I haven't been there in years

    Hi, Mike & Gigi. The soya sauce/kicap is for the bbq tuna fish (lauk tuna salai) dipper sauce & the chilli sauce/sambal lada is for the chicken butt (tongkeng ayam) dipper sauce. But the one I'm curious is the satay urat shall have peanut sauce as dipper. I hoped u tried our traditional food called ambuyat as a challenge. If Dodo explorer dare to eat it bcoz some tourists tried not to take up the local malay challenge. They'll give it up after tasting the ambuyat & the sauces that r serves to them except the side dishes.

    Next time for the barbeque fish u should try Salmon. I know u think this is like any other salmon. But this is No.1 Bruneians favourite fish when it comes to BBQ. But be careful when u say it coz there r different grades of salmons (the price also differ). U should ask for (in Bruneian accent) 'Salman Lamak'. The seller knows what I'm talking about. Lamak literally means fat. The taste is not like ordinary Salmon. Its fatty, juicy, soft n tender. Most importantly more delicious than the tuna (bakulan) that u bought. N u cannot find this salmon anywhere else in the region (including Malaysian they don't eat it). The salmons that u find at hypermarket r also different that this salmon I'm talking about.
