Lytham Hall Parkrun 11/05/2024

- I managed to run this gem of a Parkrun in 21:18 and finished 16th. I highly recommend this event.
Lytham Park was huge the volunteers suggested two options: I either park outside the Bellam Road Car Park or park up in the park (£1.50) but I can not leave until 10am. I chose the first option so, I could look around the park and go if I got too hot. It's a shame, I would of loved a coffee and teacake.
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise again, to the lady I bumped into at the beginning of the run/walk/somersault. I did not mean to knock in to her, there was no malicious intent. I will be more careful next time and at future events. Sorry.
There were lovely looking statues everywhere, don't worry I'm fine, I did not take my eyes off them. In the words of David Tennant "Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast, faster than you could believe. Don't turn your back, don't look away, and don't blink!." lol

Yeah definitely, I love running and not getting soaked or full of mud, with my complexion and being blonde, I kind of get sunburnt quite easily.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the recommendation. I wasn't there as Heaton Park is my regular run (we have met a couple of times when you have been at Heaton).
We ran Lytham Hall parkrun back in November the day before running the lytham windmill 10k and really enjoyed it. Next time I see you, I will let you know it was me who recommended it so you can put a face to the name 🙂 Great running as always Mark!
