Not so crazy tbh, i live in a country that still has conscription and frequently goes to war or operations to ensure the safety of the citizens.
There are alot of instances when soldiers as young as 18 decides to go to be a fighter and recives 8 monthes milltary training, and after he finishes bootcamp he goes to an active warzone with a loaded rifle with the order and intent of shoot to kill.

Didn't really look into details but the only mistakes I found is that the Jäger piping is dark green and that Stoßtruppen didn't use Patronentaschen nor Patronentragegurten, they stored their bullets in the jacket and pants.

Actually pretty accurate once the fighting started, in the last offensive the Germans were able to push out the Stoßtruppen units were unable to get resupplied as french and british artillery were killing the runners so it resulted in them running out of their ammo and grenades.

Jaeger's were just kinda chilling behind the enemy when the trenches were prepared
The only few weapons not showcased (tbf they are probably rarer) was the kar98az and gewehr 88 in very early war limited units
Btw i would suggest looking for an aursoft repro reichsrevolver, very beutiful gun
When airsoft engineers figure out how to make more primitive guns we could eventually get things like airsoft martini henry type thing
