Surely the obvious answer on entry to Blackpool is what Great Yarmouth do! Pay for your wristband if you want to do the rides then get non riders to pay 5 pound for their pass and that gains entry all year.

Great podcast, working your way through the top ones with the main one remaining, but not to take anything away as Scott is just as good because of the humorous side, my favourite moment was Siam Park where Mikes lazy river ring flipped off the conveyor belt, seem cracking blokes & humble & hope to bump into them at one point. Keep up the cracking work

On the point of Steeple trees, I don’t think it’s going to go, mainly because Nick Thompson, a few years back went out of his way to work with S&S to help them develop the modern version, I can’t see any other reason why he would do that, unless it was to put in a backup plan in case something happened to the existing Steeplechase or so that he could upgrade the existing one with modern horses, or something like that, not to mention that they spent a fortune rebuilding the iconic signage at the front, plus work to the station once to the roof, and now to the structure, the supports of the station, and they’ve repainted every single horse, at the very least that strikes me as they’re trying to keep the thing going and they might just upgrade to the modern S&S version, Or at the very least upgrade to the modern horses on the existing one.

Swedish amusement park Liseberg has announced it will rebuild the Oceana water park after a huge fire broke out at the new attraction

The whole sky force possibly being removed, just so they can build a bloody hotel entrance is the very reason why I don’t like this resort/building a hotel entrance, I wouldn’t mind them building an entrance for hotel guests, if it didn’t resort in a ride being removed and not replaced!
That happened far too much over the last 20 years where rides have been removed and not replaced and it cannot carry on like that.
Problem is now the scans not on wristbands you can pass around the ride access. That will be the blocker. I know there is a photo, but it's impossible to police.
They could easily police it
what I wanna know is, what are BPPB ever gonna do with that old Space Invader building? I dont ever here anyone talk about it! yeah the one that looks a bit like a square turd! lol
there obviously used to be a rather uninteresting rollercoaster inside (a 4manbob? some 1970s off the shelf coaster, quite small) I think they should put a new ride in there if they're not doing anything with it.
or has the building gone? it's been ages since i've been to the park.

This is great, and it's nice to hear Scott on an SM7b, but I have to say Dan, your delivery gets quite agrivating, it's an awful lot of 'oooh's and 'woahh's and putting on a growly tone for random words, it just sounds fake and disingenuous. It's particularly jarring here as Scott is so genuine and easy to listen to. Basically you don't need to try so hard
