I love Jinhao pens - and Asvine! Not as many colors/ranges as Jinhao but their nibs are much more consistent. I'm so glad you found me!

Maybe try the Moss Park Green with a broad nib!? Maybe that's why I haven't had issue with it. I normally use it in a broad pen.

I found moss park green to be dry too. I would recommend getting a goulet #5 nib and swapping it with the jinhao one!! They are so nice! I love the medium.

I have a Jinhao 100 with an M nib and it is one of my favorite pens. It is just shockingly smooth with great flow. Jinhao nibs are super hit or muss, but every once in a while I get a good one and i would not swap it for anything else. I am def gonna check out the Waterman inks!
I feel the same way about Jinhaos; I may try swapping for Goulet nibs - I had a comment suggesting it recently. I'm going for Waterman Tender Purple next 💜
I love the verses you used for your samples. Do you always use those verses or do you change from month to month?
I have two favorites that I use most of the time; I'm feeling like adding a new one to the rotation 💝

hi hi :) quick question, if you like an ink base color but don't want the shimmer, can't you just not shake the bottle when you ink up your pen? so the shimmer just stays at the bottom of the bottle?

What do you use for ink wetter?
I picked up Ink Wetter (sold by Anderillium Inks) from Anderillium at the Atlanta Pen Show. There's also White Lightening (sold by Vanness); thankfully my daughter remembered I'd been meaning to buy it for months. I didn't know Anderillium had one as well...
