@@rexrocker1268his bass is clear as day on the Reinventing-era tracks like this. Perfectly balanced with Dimeâs guitar and Vinnieâs kick drum. Sterling did an incredible job engineering this stuff
@@blahzay_ I noticed something. Sometimes itâs hard to hear his bass but if I change sound setting it sounds harder. For example a radio station I listen to only plays metal and when Iâm listening in my car I can hear the bass much more than on a CD I pop in the sound system.
On the 20th anniversary CFH live CD they have 2 versions of the same live recording of Heresy. One track the Bass is slamming while the other you barely hear it.
I love how every album they got progressively heavier and heavier, one of the best metal bands ever.
The way Pantera's sound progressed, it was like a V16 Detroit Diesel with its throttle pinned, running balls out until it died, screaming itself ragged, belching black smoke.

The Cop blew his head off and that was too good for him but anyway yeah Phil didn't do that Phil has head his own set of problems hes only human too and yes I know he feels guilty for Dime but not because Hes responsible but because of how things got left between him and Dime. They were brothers.

Dime, Vinny and Eddie VH are sitting at heavens bar right now. I am a child of the 80's so I wasn't the biggest VH fan, but my can you hear his influence in Dime's guitar work! He really was a huge icon and one of the best guitarists to ever live. That goes for Dime and Eddie VH. Rest in Peace guys.
