This is not from The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame press conference. They haven't even held the press conference yet. This is from the release of the KISS MONSTER BOOK.

I'm no longer gonna address the hate for Tommy and Eric because haters will hate as cliche as that sounds its true. Anyway, I thought this press conference was awesome and though it would be extremely awesome to own a 50lb KISS book I am one of many that can't afford it and that's okay I'll always be a fan of KISS, I always be a fan of Tommy and Eric along with Peter and Ace because they are who started it along with Gene and Paul so not gonna throw shade to anyone because everyone is all well deserving.

as a kiss fan i love the originals, but damn, was kiss just supposed to just quit after one or two members leave? so they have no right to continue because some fans prefer the older kiss? thats stupid! people are never happy. no matter what kiss does, someone will complain, because you cannot please everyone. this is true for every band, same thing.
I can't afford this book but have spent thousands seeing you in concert since I was 14years old. Even took my kids to see you! Even when the original broke up! I've been by your side for thirty plus years. I was eight months pregnant and I was at your concert! I believe and I have, still and always will. GOD Bless you and your family's. Gene, how's your mom? I loved family jewels:) I was in love with you all and I still am:-)

I have been faithful and bought all the music that Kiss has released. That and publish a book that is only intended for those who can afford to buy it, it becomes a mockery of the faithful members who unfortunately do not have the finances to buy it.

Back in about 1995 KISSTORY was the first "High End" KISS book 149.00, The first ones had Gene Paul Eric, Singer and Bruce Kullick. signed by them , the bindings would crack, At least mine did. So I don't look at it in fact ive not loked at tfor10 years I d guess

That's because the music is the last thing Gene is concerned with. The book they're showing off is obviously the idea of Gene "the market whore" Simmons.
Whoever buys the book will be a reflection of how relevant and important the book really is to them.

Im a huge Kiss fan...but 4k for a stupid book of pics we all have seen the past 40 years is unreal...kiss has become a joke.. good thing i have past kiss memories to fall back on.

There were only four members ever! All others were paid replacements. With no profit sharing or voting rights in band matters.

You know. I still love the original Kiss the most. But after doing some thinking. I look at it like this. I also am a huge Alice In Chains fan. A lot of hardcore AIC fans don't want to accept William Duvall as a great singer for them and talk trash about him. But I always defend him. He is not Layne Staley. But Layne is dead and he is never coming back. Plus those were incredible shoes to fill. I feel that William Duvall is doing a fantastic job with them. So I guess in the same spirit, I should be glad we still have Kiss and in the make up too. Tommy and Eric are great musicians, and they seem like nice guys to boot. They have paid their dues and deserve what they have. I still love Ace and Peter. But they had their chances and left.

I have a lot of respect for Paul Stanley. Kiss could thrive without Gene Simmons, but it couldn't survive without Paul. His book that just came out a couple of weeks ago is an excellent reminder of that.
This should be FAR less about Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley and MORE about The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame having their heads up their asses for 15 years.
I mean how much of this could have been avoided if they would have inducted them at the end of the reunion tour ?
I am a HUGE KISS fan from back to 1974.Which id weird as I am 47 right now. Anyways I have loved every single KISS record up until the Psycho Circus record. The last three records SUCK HUGE. Gene and Paul are not good song writers. They are good musicians and somewhat good singers because I like the way their voices sound on tape. Having said that I was very disappointed in the last one especially as it was supposed to sound more 70's . The 70's was analog and the studios were set up different. Why is it that AC/DC can sound the same for the last 30 years but KISS keeps trying to keep up with the Jones es? Look at the Stones, do they keep up with trends? No, they just make Stones music and it is great and people buy it. KISS needs to get with song writers that can write KISS. KISS needs to get with Vinnie Vincent again as he is a hell of a song writer and he knows how to write KISS Just look at Lick It Up, That was all Vinnie Not Gene or Paul.
I can't believe the arrogance of Paul and Gene. The album Monster sucks, you are right about Gene, he always sounds like a money commercial. Ace and Peter rock.
and hell the pics in that book have been out for 30 years plus.
Agreed Monster was a Fucking Joke, some good Riffs in there however the Lyrics where written by people so far out of touch with the subjects they are singing about , it makes one cringe. A child of 11 could write better Lyrics. Note The members were the only Songwriters given Credits on this Album, very strange as Kiss's whole success is based around Professional Songwriters writing their Songs. As an example Destroyer had just 2 out of the 10 Songs written only By Kiss Members the other 8 all written in collaboration with Pro Writers
Monster is the best album they have released since Revenge
Don't know how I feel about it. Factually the band is being "Honored" for what they were in the Seventies, Those records are the classics and were the product of MANY unseen players, the stage act of the band was a product of MANY unmentioned people, Gene has agreed to throw in with the original four guys to perform. Ever the master of Hype, Business Gene is pushing the current line up as KISS but in 2014 this is another band entirely.

Thank god all those other bands gave all the money they made to charity & that was the only reason they wanted to make music & be successful in the 1st place-I'm sure when Bono from U 2 said he doesn't believe in riches but you should see where he lives would trade his lifestyle with anybody else including any current or former music star.

Sadly that book & album was (unfortunately) a complete dud. I bough Monster & listened to it once and though I give it a edge over Sonic Boom, it just completely failed

This Kiss lost the spirit of Kiss many years ago. If Peter and Ace aren't with them, it isn't Kiss. The music isn't their guiding light anymore. They market Kiss products and not music. You can just tell they aren't in-love with the music anymore.
Last two albums sucked accept for two songs one off each album . Gaga. And Dave Grohl . Theese are the two bands Paul looks to,? well then it is true . Rock is dead .

Both of them have been in the band longer than either Ace or Peter. Eric since Revenge in '92
