I agree with John below.. The fx lenses are best for cosmetic realistic colour change. They are not cheap but they are hand painted and very realistic and most people don't need a tone or any adjustments as they have already toned down all of their lenses. If they are really out of your price range try solotica
This question I want too ask ,because fxeyes and other hand painted lenses thick and not realistic on eye,and when I put on my eyes lenses it's looking different than the photo lenses
This remind me to discontinued Elegance Colored Contacts and earlier version of Natural Touch Colored Contacts. I think they are hand painted. Beautiful colors and pattern. One lens were slightly vary from the other.
I wore ( And in my photo I am wearing them ) the "Elegance" lenses in "Sophisticated Blue"… Since they were discontinued ( The hand painted lenses were converted to a nasty looking robotic printed type ). I now like the Desio lenses from Italy. The "Tri-color" blue lenses look very nice..
Hi! I'm looking for a an artist to do a custom paint for a character I'm creating but I don't know who to contact for collaboration on this. Any advice?
Eye tech fix we’re doing classes but disappeared I was wondering what school can I go to learn this I was want to be a special fx artist but I also wanted to learn to do special fx contacts for my photoshoot
curious question, don't know how contacts work, but for sclera lens. Is it possible to have the sclera colored, for instance black, while showing the pupil with whatever color you want? If so, will the pupil follow wherever you look or will look straight from where it's painted? Like I said, I'm new on contacts, but it's interesting
@@ChaoticIntention Yup. He did mention they can do ones that only cover the scelera while leaving the iris & pupil transparent. It'll essentially be a big lens with a pupil-sized transparent circle in the middle. It'll still move with the eye just like a normal contact lens. From what I can tell, on 9mmsfx's website, the "trauma" ones let the person's real iris colour show through while mostly only colouring the scelera.
Is it possible to paint the pupil and iris too? I've exotropia and the bad eye is actually blind. so i want to hide it with such a lens but i'm not sure if these will work. 9mmsfx lens probably don't work since they're for healthy eyes.
@@Adriana-ih6hn Sorry for the bad spelling, If you get knockoff contacts from a halloween store they will slowly make your retina's degrade and irritate if they aren't perfectly fitted.
is it possible to order contacts that is made design what i want to get? I search for contacts design that i want to wear for a long time, but i cant find that. :( if you can make contacts that has same design as what i want, please leave your email on my comment. Thank you!
True but...then The lenses need a wash, hot sterile treatment and packaging...so there is no difference paint with gloves or not..after hot packaging they become sterile
hey, i need a custom contact design for a cosplay, does anybody know how i can get some? I plan on cosplaying as Koku from B: the Beginning, if that helps.
There are websites that do custome lenses. But just to warn you they start at least $150 and the larger size you go and more intricate the design the more expensive. There a printed lenses that are cheaper but yeah
I think this takes a lot of very specific materials & aspects to do this in a way that isn't a threat to the wearer's eyes. I had hoped this wouldn't be the case, but I was expecting it to be.
im not sure, what kind of painting color is used for contact lenses? how is called?. when u painting the lens you have to seal with something?.what is that water soda you put in the lenses? can you explain it please?♥

No. Just no. Some things there's wiggle room with, like hair, if you aren't a professional, since in all but the most extreme mistakes hair will grow back. The eyes are not one of those with wiggle room to mess up.

my all time favorite lenses. i still have a pair of elegance light blue
they were not hand painted but they had a special production method that almost looked like hand painted. I wish they still make them

Do you create customized contacts more orders?
Amazing
Obviously it's not a good idea to attempt painting your own contacts, but is it possible to remove paint from a colored lens?
How can I order these? How much are they? What prescription strength can you do and can you wear them even if you have astigmatism?

If you paint the pupil you won't be able to see, you can paint around the iris though
