Both Paige and Walter still loves eatch other and Walter was just going to say it at the end before they closed that door... But when she told Ralph she prefer, being a river full of alligators, Walter heard that , so he said, its cancelled (he was hurt about what he heard), after he asked to him team-mate but they all have something to do, the only thing he wanted is to go to this conference with Paige, but like I said she don't really wanted to go there, he didn't wanted to be alone, so he ask Flo if she was interested about this conference and she said, she was nice to him. But I think if Flo told Walter she loves him, he will probably didn't asked her.

I'd like to know since half way through season 4 now and haven't seen Paige say that. The best moment in season 4 so far for me was when Paige tells Walter that she loves him because he never changes who he is. He is true to himself to the core. Just saw the Episode in Season 1 where the girl he breaks up with in the restaurant at the beginning tells him there is no malice in him just facts. That there is no woman who can continually stimulate his mind. Paige may not be his intellectual equal but she is always challenging him and his mind, she doesn't realize it though.

Actually the Walter/Paige dynamic was good. They could've been a great couple. But Season 3 killed that dynamic and eventually caused the downward spiral of the show. In watching Season 3, Walter became a jealous/love sick puppy/cast off. In Season 1 and 2, he was a confident leader who was the protective of his team and selfless. While he gets Paige at the end of Season 3, he is more of the consolation prize for her. It isn't so much that Paige chose Walter rather he got Paige by default. Unlike Walter, Paige didn't have to work through her feelings for him, she just had to wait until he worked up his courage to express himself without an event(hypoxia/near death). I get the showrunners wanted to milk the dynamic could've easily done that while creating a love triangle between the 3 (Walter/Paige/Tim) which eventually leads to Walter working out his feelings and expressing them to her. Instead you have Ralph having to encourage him and her mother telling Paige she is conning herself.
