As most of you know, the driver requires a shallower arc with the club catching the ball on the up swing. This means if the vertical part of our downswing much sooner than with the irons we stand a better chance of creating those impact conditions - but for that to happen it necessarily requires us to also "drop" or shift much sooner as well.

when i was in the u.s. air force over 50 yrs ago i was stationed in karamursel, turkey and i used to golf the course that was on the base. maybe i can get back to turkey someday and golf the new courses.

I always find amazing the "feel" he has to have to snap roll the hands, but when in slow mo, that roll happens the whole swing. I've always been afraid for that, because I over the top and worry about left going left
Can be counter intuitive because sometimes the infamous over the top happens because of a lack of this rotation with the wrists 👍

Marcus, fantastic explanation of the drop and pop driver swing. I noticed that for the driver, it's not so much of a lean towards the target, as it is with irons. It's more of a drop and pop in the center of your stance with both legs. Am I seeing and hearing this correctly? Maybe this is why I can hit my irons and woods well, but my driver sucks. It will change person to person but the "pop" with the driver comes much sooner, which sometimes gives the illusion of there not being as much as a shift towards the target as it can propel the golfer backwards! Ie: what you see a lot of with the long drivers 👍

How do you make sure the face is square or has the same angle every time at impact with that wrist movement?
I think this that’s exactly what I need to do with the driver. I hopefully I understand it correctly.

The trips tho coach 5k plus spending money! Not sure about the rest of your subscribers but that’s a lot of dough. I know it’s a lot of coaching for the money but it kind of excludes a lot of us! 😢
I concur. That's a months wage for me but there will be someone out there who has saved their pennies for such occasions. Still love watching the content though and think what other things you can do with the 5000.
There's different trips at different prices hopefully to accommodate most budgets. This is a premium location with five star facilities and is our top priced trip atm. We will be running UK trips for much less.
