- Gavia pass vlog. We cycled up Gavia pass from Bormio, it was one of the best climbs I've ever ridden! Lots of pro cyclists everywhere including Dominico Pozzovivo! Weather turned bad so we turned around on the top and did the planned route in reverse the day after, stay tuned for that VLOG!

From Bormio to Gavia and then to Mortirolo it is amazing. I've done it this year. Great nature

Gavia pass looks incredible, i hope to ride there one day!
So cool. You guys are legends.
HAHAHA I LOVE HOW YOU SAY "CIAO" AND "FORZA" TO EVERYBODY THAT RIDES PAST plus your accent is on point hahah
haha gotta be done, Ciao officially my favourite world right now
Haha, awesome vlog, and that was definitely Pozzovivo. :) Nice mate
yeahh haha, was so random! shoulda chased him ;) Thanks!
lol that was so funny. I'm just learning about pro cyclist, but as soon you focus to pozzovivo I was like. ." oh wow! no way" is him! 😁.
Great vlog, all the memories you will have to share with your children in the future.
thankyou!
Dude! That looks like the best climb of all time. Great vlog too. Those drone shots are fantastic.
thanks dan, yeah its an incredible climb!!
Pretty spoilt here in Bormio, we did Mortirolo yesterday and doing the Stelvio and Umbrail pass on Saturday!! 😍 What climbs would you most like to ride??
Yes it's a great ride. Good video, well done! 👍
Incredible! Enjoyed watching and listening. I like the music too.
Dave Moore thanks Dave!
Damn, you're raising the bar! Love this!
thanks tarmo!!
I hate to imagine being stuck in the apartment full of cold or flu for a week or so after a cold & wet descent, I think you were wise to call off the clime Gruff.
palmer3977 yeah, and after riding the mortiriolo the next day, it is deff not a descent you want to do in the wet!! #switchbackcity
Beautiful footage!
thanks nicole!! the alps is where its at!👌
Is that...Pozzovivo?! missing this shit boys
Brah! Are you still about this area? I think I'm heading to Vienna for a messenger championship then I want to do 10 days of riding around the Alps / Dolomites. Would be awesome if you're still around!!! Hit me up on Facebook messages init!
Hi just subscribed to your channel, love your videos, I have been planning to do regular hill climbing sessions. I live in Newcastle upon Tyne and there are some nasty hills. Do you have any tips on being a good climber? Thanks
hey man thanks! I think it closely relates to just general cycling improvement but consistency is key, you gotta just get out there and keep riding. Structured efforts a few times a week like 'sweet spot' are great if you can or just pushing yourself while riding with other people that are slightly faster. Whatever gets you out there! hope its been as sunny in newcastle as its been in wales for the past few weeks :D
VeloVegan at the moment its cold for May. I have a channel myself if you want to check it out
VV, how do you generally navigate for vegan foodstuffs abroad? Particularly, how did you manage to find vegan cornettos in such a location? Happycow or is there a better site? I swear diet is the main thing that sits in the way of me visiting such beautiful out-of-the-way places.
Hey what country are you from? Generally for eating out i use happycow or google maps vegan food or similar... we just found the cornettos randomly in a small supermarket! Bormio is a pretty small place though but there's a couple of fruit shops you can get veggies from and we've been cooking pasta or rice and then just having some tinned beans with veg and some sauce. Oats for brekky works great! Out riding can be a little of a problem for solid food sometimes but you can normally find bread in the shops etc!
don't let it stop you, its honestly a lot easier than you think to get food and once you get used to what you like its not much extra thought!
VeloVegan agreed - am from UK and happycow sorta works but really looking for a less cluttered / hit and miss option. Guessing you're mainly cooking for yourself anyway, so you're relatively insulated. My Portuguese vegan friend basically has to do that when she goes home. Oh well, still have to keep reading those labels, I suppose. What brand was that icecream, please? May be in Italy later this summer, would like to try it. Beautiful vlog BTW.
Hey, just be careful with some of the french supermarket bread, last time I was there, I looked at the ingredients and it had so much random shit thrown in it. Stick with a Boulangerie :)
yeah we've been meticulously reading the labels, they've vegan but deff not great quality bread, thanks for the warning! :)
gearing?..34/28?
Mads Nilsson Jackson and I had 34/32 I think Ian had 39/28
Nice location. I just do not understand why you have to advertise what you eat, I do not need to know!
