It impressed me that Seth let him talk for as long as he did. A lot of times, these actors have a dozen stories to tell and they sit down, introduce themselves, and it's time for a commercial . . . or worse, time to go on to the next guest. We would never have gotten that great last story (including setup and punchline) if he'd only been given three to five minutes.

The potatoes line was from Pride and Prejudice. He is astounding as Capote. Emmy time! I loved his line in Gosford Park when he's eating jam and says that "one can feel so bruised" or words to that effect. So terrifying in The Night Manager. One of my favorite actors.❤

Truman Capote on Johnny Carson was a must-watch for me back in the 20th century. Tom Hollander nailed his performance as Truman Capote in that film clip.

I absolutely absolutely love him as an actor. Another one of those classically trained British actors who speaks so eloquently. I cannot wait to watch his new show I also just love his voice its almost ASMR oh he's so talented. I hope this means that I'll see him on more talk shows promoting this same project!
