Robin use the Shift "E" to hide the handles when using a control point. Or the little menu icon next to the local adjustment type picker.

I do agree with you that Nik Collection is so fun to use, and you could really unleash your creativity. I still have not bought it yet, but i do have the free trial install to try it, but i do own Nik Collection 6. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video 📹 😊 ❤️

I'm really enjoying using the new Nik tools. You do realize that you can turn off the on-screen controls if you want to? ( the little icon beside the question mark. I prefer them but I know some, like you, don't) Also instead of all those control points did you consider using the new luminosity mask feature, I'm finding it really useful. Finally, have you noticed that you can place "negative" control points by holding down Alt as you position them? It looked like they'd removed that feature but they've just made it an "Alt" operation instead.

Thanks for that. I just did another video to share this great tip. In that same video I had a look at using luminosity mask instead. At first I thought there would be no difference, but in working it, I realised that I had set the different points to different opacity... so the luminosity mask didn't 100% duplicate my intent... but it was close.

I tried to upgrade to Nik Collection 7 from Nik Collection 5 and was told that I have to pay full price. When I reached out to the DxO representative, I was told that they could be charging me "$79 for upgrade from v5 to v6 and $89 from v6 to v7, so, instead of charging you individually to upgrade we charge the $159 new price" . Isn't that like saying if I upgrade from iPhone 13 to iPhone 15, Apple should charge me for Apple 14 as well. Too frequent upgrades with minor changes and I have to pay full price for each upgrade. No, Thank you.

Thats strange because with dxo products you usually get an discount if you are 2 versions between.
