@@legendarypixel619Not a souls game, it's an open world rpg. Souls games are basically 3D Metroivanias without abilities...Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro. Elden Ring has a map and a horse, so it's an open world game like Breath Of The Wild.

Adding on to this: you can go over to Rykard’s head and loot Tanith for her armor set, but only after you defeat the knight. Hoped this helped!
