This has now become one of my most favorite songs ever.
it brings to mind when I and my sister finally fulfilled my mother's dream to return to her hometown in Iloilo City, after almost more than 52 years, being married and all. And finally as a gesture to console our mother after Daddy died last July, we were able to book a flight from Manila to Iloilo City last November 27. And when I hear this song, I could clearly recall the thrill of being in that AirAsia plane during the takeoff and seeing the spectacular colors of the sunset above the Luzon airspace as we were flying to Iloilo.
And both of us were practically overwhelmed with joy, and this song captures that event.

Oh, he's added a demographic that would NEVER have listened to violin - He's made violin cool, I can't think of a more elegant way to phrase it because the coffee hasn't kicked in yet, but yes, he has worked hard, made the violin aware to millions that would have thought of it as a dusty old instrument in the attic. And done so in a way that all of us can appreciate. Wonderful gentleman! TALENTED man.

As a violinist, this is super inspiring. I'd love to be able to play a sort of rock style of violin, but it's not overly common. But this is incredible! Several of the techniques he uses are quite difficult to do well and consistently.
Yep I played the viola and gave up because my parents couldn't afford the lessons no more . Would have loved to been able to play and master it 😊😊😊

This is the day 19th August when one year ago in 2019 I was shocked by the violint sound of a magnificent musician who played the role of Paganini in the film Devil's violinist. Since then I am addicted to his music and his personality. I love all the pieces he plays/performs. both classical and crossover. And this is one of my most favoured piece.
