I’m a respiratory therapist and studying for my CSCS. Stuff like this makes me think I’d be a great fit for a similar role. Expanding on this I believe this should be an avenue that my current profession should strive to push towards. Treating sick patients has made me realize how important preventative health is. Cardio respiratory fitness is a huge indicator in that. It makes me want to open doors for the respiratory therapy profession as a whole. I have thoroughly enjoyed your channel!

Do you plug your VO2 in the VDOT calculator?

Well, Only if we could find a VO2 Max testing station that uses the mouthpiece, noseclips, and large spongy hoses.

😂 Good point Weston. Thankfully there are many well-established surrogate field tests you could use that correlate strongly with VO2max tests. VO2max is the gold standard measurement for aerobic power, but certainly not the only one nor the most common given the cost of the equipment and expertise required to run one.
