Nah. Would derail negotiations, cost both sides crazy amounts in courts. Also laws around press conferences are rather vague. John didn't actually initiate the physical contact and head contact. Team Usyk initiated head contact first. Therefore, John could argue self defense. Tenuous - but still a good defense. If one genuinely believes they are in danger (whether correctly or not), they are legally allowed to defend themselves using reasonable amount of force. Was his headbutt a reasonable amount of force? Well, he is a fragile, obese, old man - surrounded by prime young fighters that just initiated head contact with him. A good lawyer could definitely get John off either scot-free or a suspended sentence.
@@belindalucas5468 Assault is assault. That victim did nothing to John, there is no way he'd get off scot free and if he does the system is even worse than I thought it was. Add to that the fact he was sent away for 12 years for gauging an eye out and clearly hasn't learned from it.
