if you ever got another dome you could make a rose themed doll kind of like the rose in beauty and the beast!
I absolutely LOVE the look of the doll in the globe, especially in with the fairy lights😍 you never fail to impress me with what you make!
Are you going to make Any African American or African decent dolls? I really enjoy watching you create these beautiful dolls and I know u made them before, but I’ve noticed a lack of variety in race and ethnicity lately.
@@minniesocute2 I’m guessing this was meant for Poppen? I agree though, she should make different ethnicities more often. Every doll lately has been white and I feel bad for other ethnicities since they aren’t being represented!

Your “thing” is a bell jar or cloche. It’s how Belle’s rose is preserved in Beauty and the Beast. They were used to display small taxidermy and dried flowers in Victorian decor. So it’s perfect for your girl! I’m sure she is very happy in there :) Beautiful as always!

My husband has one for smoking cheese/meats with a small smoking gun.

@@lyndethomas5244 She has actually made a fair few bits of merch using her Red Riding Hood doll as a base. I think it all says "Let me customize you!" & she's holding the little wolf. Still pretty cute.
With every next doll you make, I think "no, this is the best of your projects, you can't make it better". And every time I am shocked! Your talent is so unbelievable!
You can make a doll in the off season if you have time, between other dolls, then present it in the appropriate season. And then you have Christmas off
You should do more dolls in those bell display cases, a beautiful way to create a small diorama around the doll that the buyer will want to display. Protects from dust and looks absolutely stunningly beautiful. Happy new year and hope 2021 will be better for all of us.

@@Gandellion Why not? It's hot as heck for many of us, so we're missing the chill of winter around this time (and for quite a few kids/students, this is one of the most anticipated break periods of the year outside of winter break).

Here in the Southern Hemisphere, July is Winter. I celebrate Winter Solstice , it doesn't snow where I live but at least it's cold :D

Being the boots where pink, I like the pop of pink inside of the boots. Just a hint of color!!

Attempting to reroot my first doll!
I made the mistake of doing the hair first, but I can always cover the hair with plastic before I start with her face ;)
I always do hair first when i reroot because when you reroot the head gets squished(?) And if you would do the faceup first it could crack
It happened to my friend and she had to redraw the whole face :/

Really beautiful doll! You're an artist. Next time you could try to build a "double walled" dome with liquid and fake snow inside so that when you turn it inside out you could get the same effect of a real snowball. It's just an idea, you're work is simply excellent, I love your videos.

Hi! Could you please tell me what is your decision path when deciding how to attach the hair (rerooting vs glueing)?
Shorter hair she tends to glue and longer she reroots. She has said it is easier to work with short hair when it is glued I believe.

Beautiful! Just a question, would it be possible to “root” the yarn hair in the same way as the nylon hair, or is the untwisted yarn too fragile?
As long as you're gentle with it it should be fine, though doing longer hairstyles would be harder, because yarn wefts are only so long you'd have to plug just the end of each strand in instead of doing it from the middle like you would with another hair fibre.
Though actually, it might be better to untwist the yarn, plug it, glue it, and then brush it out and flat iron it once it's already in the head.
