to avoid the blending of the glitters when you epoxy, have you tried using a clear spray paint layer just to hold the glitter in place?

oh absolutely :) usually two coats when working with chunky glitter but i can be a bit heavy handed when i epoxy so there is no guarantee that glitter has a chance to stay where i put it originally... lol!!
