Well if Playmaker summoned his Clock dragon instead of quantum dragon he could won the duel. But no, writers had different plans. Quantum dragon never won a duel for playmaker.

It was true that Bohman didn't activate his monster's effect earlier, but even if he had done so, the chance that he could have defeated Playmaker at that moment would have been only 1 out of 6, which would have been about 16.7%. In other words, even if Bohman had gone all out, his victory would have not been absolute.

The Wiser 1 Couldn’t agree more. Crowler is really funny, especially his reaction to the cat . Lazar , however is amazing with comedy . We saw flashes of his comical genius during his first duel against Crow, but it took Goodwin’s “death” for it to really come to the forefront.😃😃😃
Kaito vs Astral (then Zexal) was such an important duel for all 3 characters. We finally see a vulnerable side to Kaito after witnessing sheer dominance from him for the past 3-5 episodes. Astral learns how to trust others, overcome adversity, and Yuma learns to believe in himself and stick to his kattobingu no matter what.
O'brien duels are all so good, even the weakest of them -his first duel against judai- is probably one of the best "side character vs judai" duel of GX

I love how you mentioned that there are about 15 ties in the whole franchise, and I can think of 3 off the top of my head for Yusaku alone 😂 A similar idea to this one, I'd love to see the top 10 DNF duels in the series - whether it focuses on the duels themselves or the interesting natures of the DNFs - such as Kaito vs Yuma R1 when Haruto's illness literally saved Yuma's life.
Kaiser might've hinted at his eventual heel turn at the end of the duel. He said that he was at his limit of improvement so he needed a way to break his limits.
My favorite aspect of the Kite v. Astral duel and how it ended has to be how it showcased Zexal’s power and limitations in a single move. A lot of people see Zexal and Shining Draw as a whole as an instant win condition, but as duel and many others afterwards showcased, the power has a massive, glaring limitation: it can’t account for the unknown. Cards produced through Zexal will have the bare minimum effects for overcoming an obstacle, and nothing more. ZW-Unicorn Spear was enough to beat Galaxy-Eyes, but it couldn’t account for the facedown Photon Shock. Same thing with the duels with Vetrix and Don Thousand, as they were able to counter Zexal multiple times with cards Yuma and Astral simply were unable to account for.
Unrelated to the video, I've been watching a lot of the Zexal dub and it is comedy gold. Watch Rio's introduction episode (79). It's absolutely hilarious. Also, Dylan, if you can, do a list of Duels with no results if you can.

The Joey vs Yugi brings back so many good memories of sitting in front of my uncle's laptop and browsing for ygo content. That was one of the few duel clips I watched back then. It was one phenomenal duel.
Something I find interesting about the Waking the Dragons arc, in all 3 duels in which Yugi, Joey and Kaiba first use their dragon cards, we get all possible duel results except draw - Yugi loses, Kaiba draws and Joey gets a DNF.

Gongenzaka's duel should rank much higher for me. Maybe it's because I'm a Gongenzaka fanboy, but I really enjoyed this duel, as it showed how different and crazy Gongenzaka is. He doesn't go for Action cards, he doesn't have any spell/trap cards in his deck, and MANLY MEN DON'T MOVE UNNNCECESSARILY. While everyone, including Sora is surprised, Yuya explains that Gongenzaka had it all in control from the get go.
Ngl these duels who got draw has to be fking great , case they where going back & forth like Jasen vs Zane, witch deserves #1 spot. great top 10 vid man
I honestly like the Gong versus Kit duel for a few main reasons 1. The duel felt much more skilled based than other duels in Yu-Gi-Oh, Gong having to think multiple steps ahead to save himself. 2. Kit's near overwhelming power sets him up as a good "rival character" for Gong, in a similar fashion that Julia Krystal did for Zuzu. 4. The action was extremely character based with kit and Gong's philosophies being reflected in how they dueled. 5. It was a catalyst for character growth and that character growth is representative of my favorite parts about early Arc-V
I could not agree more with Judai vs Kaiser as number 1! It was the perfect duel to end off year 1 of Judai's time in duel academy plus Ryo's last year! We finally got to see just how much more insane of a duelist Kaiser was as he didn't get much time to shine until here. The clash between heroes and cyber dragons going as high in life points is symbolic to me as it shows their importance that was to come for the rest of the yugioh go series!

Honestly the O Brien VS Supreme King duel is probably 11 for me, literally just missed out. IDK I love the moment at the end of Judai getting saved, but the duel itself didn't really stand out to me
While most of these duels are cool, the Zane vs Jaden is the best! It's really a shame that these 2 never had an actual rematch... I know, they "dueled" in season 3 for 2 minutes, but I can hardly call that a duel.
Well Kaiser was stronger than Judai in season 1,2,3....in season 4 it is debatabke..I wish that they dueled before Judai left the academy and that duel again ended up draw. Too bad that they ruined all characters because of Judai’s spotlight in season 4.
No arguments against #1 here. This duel was very well paced, had great symbolism with how Jaden could go toe to toe with Zane, but also showed that even if an unstoppable force like Jaden duels Zane, Zane is still incredibly hard to beat

Maybe it's because X-Sabers are one if my favorite decks but I really enjoyed gong vs kit (#10) What also impressed me about that duel was you got to see 2 copies of the same boss monster which is rare to see in the anime. Yeah Luna vs frank it would of been cool to see more duels in the spirit world in 5ds with luna, that's one thing about 5ds I wish they explored more Luna and the spirit world.

Speaking of the Joey Vs. Yugi duel we never saw isn't the fact that Joey has his Red Eyes in Dark Side of Dimensions confirm he won their duel? If I remember correctly, the agreement in the Japanese dub was that after growing as a duelist he'd challenge Yugi proper, and the winner would get Red Eyes. So, if DSoD is canon then he probably beat him and claimed Red Eyes.
It was Joey had to prove that he has became a true duelist to get back Red-Eyes. There was nothing about him winning. That and the manga more or less implies that Yugi was Atem's only fair lost and Joey outright says that only Yugi could challenge Atem.
What made like number 5 and 4 was that they had plot armor help Kaiba and Astral. Zexal and Fang of Critias was revealed at the near end and usually that plot armor wins the match like Yuma vs Vector.
I think a top 10 caracters that have great duels could be good (A top where caracters with in general great duels exemple: Kallin/Kiryu have 5 animated duels 3 of them are 3 of the best 5d's duels) Sorry for my bad english, I'm french.
Lightning vs Revolver not counting as a draw is like saying that winning an official tournament match duel by holding someone hostage counts as legitimately winning. I'm pretty sure that Konami would invalidate your win and probably give a lifetime ban for doing something like that on top of whatever prison time you'd receive.

I really enjoyed ArcV and I'm rewatching it now. I started watching a few episodes of Vrains when it started, but didn't watch further. After i'm don' with ArcV, I will watch Vrains. Maybe you can do a top 7 First duels (of the protagonists), so from the original to Sevens.
For all the shortcomings Vrains had I think we all can agree that Revolver is the best character of the whole franchise and one of the best duelists too. I mean, he's probably the only rival who forced in a draw to avoid a win instead of a loss

Judai vs Ryo is one of the best duels in general for me. I love how they didn't go with classic 'protagonist defeats rival' and ended in in a draw.

Yeah Luna vs frank it would of been cool to see more duels in the spirit world in 5ds with luna, that's one thing about 5ds I wish they explored more Luna and the spirit world.

Speaking of the Joey Vs. Yugi duel we never saw isn't the fact that Joey has his Red Eyes in Dark Side of Dimensions confirm he won their duel? If I remember correctly, the agreement in the Japanese dub was that after growing as a duelist he'd challenge Yugi proper, and the winner would get Red Eyes. So, if DSoD is canon then he probably beat him and claimed Red Eyes.
It was Joey had to prove that he has became a true duelist to get back Red-Eyes. There was nothing about him winning. That and the manga more or less implies that Yugi was Atem's only fair lost and Joey outright says that only Yugi could challenge Atem.
I thougt that by draws you meant like drawing an actual card. You should do a top 10 yugioh best draw video though.

What made like number 5 and 4 was that they had plot armor help Kaiba and Astral. Zexal and Fang of Critias was revealed at the near end and usually that plot armor wins the match like Yuma vs Vector.

Lightning vs Revolver not counting as a draw is like saying that winning an official tournament match duel by holding someone hostage counts as legitimately winning. I'm pretty sure that Konami would invalidate your win and probably give a lifetime ban for doing something like that on top of whatever prison time you'd receive.

For all the shortcomings Vrains had I think we all can agree that Revolver is the best character of the whole franchise and one of the best duelists too. I mean, he's probably the only rival who forced in a draw to avoid a win instead of a loss
