@@MADBOMBER9000that's not how licensing works. Did you see any news of Epic Games paying Lego $25 million to make the mode permanent in fortnite? I must also remind you that Lightsabers are temporary for a reason, Epic can't afford to buy it permanently from Disney.
@@GameoftheYear-fx4mqwhy would they make lego styles of thousands of skins and tease the mode and stuff without stating that it’s limited time only? Why did they even bother making lego styled fortnite skins if they will be gone in a while? That’s not how it works buddy the mode is obviously permanent and idk how epic managed to do it but they did
@@GameoftheYear-fx4mqLego probably paid Epic - or much more likely, they just cooperate together, because companies are interested in advertising their product to the Fortnite demographic. This definitely looks like a permanent mode, way too much effort went into this
The devs don't get enough credit for how much content they have done for this game. No matter your opinions on the base game the dedication and imagination behind the creative team is remarkable

Epic basically has 4 AAA studios working on the game and creating content in a sort of rotation. The number of devs seems to only be increasing with them trying to make it the new Roblox.

Looks great! As a Save the World fan this is what the original fortnite would have become without BR. Looks like they spent some time creating this and i must say that some things would not work with the fortnite theme but with legos it's perfect. Congrats epic can't wait try it out 👏
I gave up on StW a long time ago despite getting the Founders pack but I might give this a go if, like BR, the microtransactions are mainly cosmetic

I’d imagine so as they have remade all the character models as Fortnite characters which would have taken a very long time to do so

I never expected Lego and Fortnite to have a crossover but this is one of the best things Fortnite has ever done, this will make me go back to Fort I love this.

@@povcvv No I don't, I care about Lego. I still wouldn't play the game aspect of Fortnite. I'd use the software to build Lego in the sandbox mode, nothing more. 🙂

Frankly this is more Lego Minecraft. Fortnite sadly evelvoded only to the Deathmatch thing without much building in it but this looks promising.

I like how they use the OG Fortnite skins! I also like how it looks like an actual Lego game! In one part of the video where the Lego buildings were getting blown up and demolished, it reminded me of an old Roblox trailer. Imagine if they made REAL Lego Fortnite sets or even maybe a Lego Fortnite Minifigures blind bag thing!? I also just thought of Lego Fortnite in Lego Dimensions... weird right? Or a Netflix Original Lego Fortnite TV show meant for kids!

Has survival elements so kinda Minecraft'esque, & I think I read 16 player max per server so I'm not sure if that means possible pvp or whether it's 16 player max for pve, so if anyone can clarify it will be appreciated. 👍

Have you played the last update, new map, weapon mods, more fluid movement etc, because for me it's now a much more enjoyable experience.
I hope to got they finally implement multiplayer into Lego games after this. All they needed was a little bigger budget to push out multiplayer before the deadline was met. The latest starwars saga game was supposed to have multiplayer including crossplay but they pushed it out too soon…
Every Lego game needs coop online…

Okay, this is making me incredibly nostalgic. It looks almost like a current Gen version of LEGO Universe. I won't complain too much, but it would be near perfect if 1. It was it's own game 2. It could be played offline 3. If you could collect and play as Minifigures of characters from other franchises like Star Wars and Marvel, and 4. If you could build LEGO vehicles like in LEGO 2K drive but with the addition of planes and stuff.
I mean, you kinda can “collect mini figs” right? Didn’t they make Lego versions of like, EVERY skin that falls in the E category?
@@wesjall I meant Minifigures of characters from other franchises that made it into fortnite as skins for the normal game. I don't really care about the Minifigures of characters originally from the game itself.
