I will rejoice in the Lord, my soul will triumph in God for he has clothed me in holiness and robed me with grace like a bride adorned in her bridal dress
1) My soul glorifies the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my saviour , he has looked upon his lowly handmaid, all people now shall call me blessed
2) The Almighty has worked for me his wonders the name of our
God is holy,
He has mercy on those who fear Him From one generation to the next.
3) He has shown the strength of his arm And scattered the wicked in their pride
He has put down the mighty from their thrones And exalted the gentle and lowly.
4) He has filled the hungry with good things The rich sent empty
away
He cherishes Israel his servant He keeps his merciful designs in remembrance. 5) He stands firm in his promise to our fathers To Abraham and all his children
So his love for our fathers is fulfilled The loving kindness of the heart of our God.
6) Praise the Father, Son and Holy spirit. Both now and forever amen. The lord who is, who was and who will be, For ages unending Amen.
