+Nick Dedmor , unfortunately , you will have to adjust the settings by opening the front magnetic cover, but recently i am looking into aftermarket Bluetooth controller to see if this can fix the problem.
Nice Review Gordon. I wasn't clear on your quick comparison with Homido - are you saying that the Homido is worth the $50 more? That much better? How about the Noon or Freefly (these appear to be sold out everywhere)? I can't find a comparison between these 2 levels of device (except naresh lal).
+Bill Barrett Freefly have good FOV :) a bit better then the homido i would say, and the noon Vr have superb software for your smart phone to optimize your VR experience, in term of FOV, it is on par with Homido.

What about the magnets? They wont damage the phone? I use an Iphone 6 Plus, I bought those glasses and I googled and saw that Iphone 6 plus has some issues with magnets according to camera autofocus
+Mike Godlike , if i am not mistaken they do provide you some sort of foam in the box , what i did is , i cut the foam and stick it on the magnet part at the back of the front cover.

+Nick Dedmor i would suggest changing the Qr code to HOMIDO VR QR code 1st, it will not 100% fix it though , but it will at less improve the quality a bit.
Is it possible to scan through screen? Also the only app that let me scan a QR code is google cardboard and I'm using IOS device. Are you experiencing the same issue like I do on your review?

eva foam will fix it :)
try to tilt the phone abit with a small piece of eva foam so that it is not touching the volume button
