    I am currently enrolled in Chamberlain’s RN-BSN program. You are so right. The Gen-Ed courses are harder than the nursing courses. I also needed 9 courses to complete my RN-BSN. I am about to start courses #4 and #5 out of 9 and will be done in February. Congratulations!!

      @@wshelby83 Hi Britanie. I just finished this week!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 It really wasn’t horrible. I needed 9 classes to finish my BSN. I started with one class in May of 2021, then took 2 classes per session until I finished. I’m an RN care coordinator and work Mon-Fri. I completely agree with everything MzWendaline_RN said. It’s doable and I finished with a 4.0 GPA. Time management is key. Good luck!

    I am thinking of starting with Chamberlain. Can you tell me how many assignments there are each week? I know there's a discussion post and a reply and then 2 replies to fellow students, but how many assignments a week? Another online class I took it was each week the discussion thing and one assignment. I feel like more than one assignment in one week would be difficult! Thanks for any answers you can give me!

    I’m wondering about this. By July I’ll have taken 2 classes and have 7classes left. That would leave me with 3 8 weeks by December. I want to try and graduate by December. That means that I would have to do 3 classes in one session. I have 2 general Ed classes (political science and a humanities) to take as well. I wonder if I can still do this, taking those 3classes in one 8 session. Maybe it would be best I finish those 3 classes in a 8 session week before working as a nurse. I hope you respond.

    • @MzWendalineRN
      @MzWendalineRN  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes! It’s definitely doable to take those classes in one session. That’s what I did. I will caution that it is ALOT of work and time consuming. But if you have the time, you can certainly do it. I got all A’s in that session. I was on maternity leave at the time, so I had time to focus on school without worrying about work. Sorry for the late reply. Hope that helps and all the best of luck to you.

    I want to further my nursing education and want to know which programs I am eligible to apply?

    • @MzWendalineRN
      @MzWendalineRN  Před rokem +1

      Yes, it was manageable. The class kind of walked you through it. Every week we had an assignment that went towards the capstone project. At the end, you put all that work together after all the corrections and then submit it. This was during the pandemic, so I hope they are still doing the same thing. Good luck to you !

      Capella is much better. It’s cheaper if you have all the prereqs. RN-BSN with all required prereqs is 3,550 dollars. You can’t beat that! No exams, no discussion posts, just essays, PowerPoints, and video presentations

      I actually looked into it and is EXPENSIVE. I actually just started my online BSN program this Monday and choose a state college. In total it will cost 5k and it’s three semester so I’ll be done in December 2022 since I’m full-time. I’m paying out of pocket and this semester cost 1600 which isn’t bad fo full time. I def would recommend state college or community college that offers the BSN program the cost is doable and you’ll be done in a year

      Yes RN TO BSN I googled all the state and community college in Florida that’s where I’m a resident and pulled up the list. I choose the one that was all online and didn’t require extra foolery courses. Some schools do their capstone in person but I didn’t want to do that since I’m always traveling.
