How to Install 10" Android Car Player - Honda HRV

- How to install $99 10" screen Android Car Player in Honda HRV.
While it is very simple to remove the stock radio on Honda HRV, the difficulty here is simply the fact that on the $99 radio the radio screen and chassis is integrated. Actually there are a few 10" android radio with detachable screen, but they all cost upwards of $500. Detachable screen means proper and easy installation.
The only downside of this $99 Android radio is that there are some empty spaces on the sides of the radio. Not too much of a problem considering how much it costs.
Unfortunately I have only used this radio for 1 month, so I do not provide a review of this particular radio because I have yet to explore all the functions and discover all the problems with this radio.
I can only say there are a lot of - probably hundreds of different brand of Android car players out there, even with similar to identical shape. Each of these have different software and experience - so just be prepared.

What is the name of the head unit
For steering wheel control, which color to link up. I got android key 1 pink and key 2 orange/black. Which pin go to which pin.
depends on the car and the original radio. honda typically only use key1 and ground, key2 is unused. 2:40 on this HRV default jvc radio the key1 white/red stripe, on my android radio key1 is orange/white stripe.
@@utakatikmobil so for example, key1 connect to white/red and key2 connect to ground, or shld just connect key1 only and leave key2 unconnect
@@suhaimisenin5841 try leaving key2 unconnected and see if it works. Otherwise try key2 and leave key1 unconnected.

Kalau untuk HRV SE yg head unit bawaanya floating , bagaimana cara lepas panel dashboardnya?
Yg model gitu biasanya layarnya bisa dilepas terpisah dari body mesin nya. Jadi layar lepas dulu baru lepas mesin
I have installed it on my Honda H-rv but the problem is the microphone and it doesn't work and steering wheel control too doesn't work to

Om, maksudnya kabel biru dari adaptor antena dihubungkan dengan kabel antena krn butuh supply 12V, itu kabel yg mana/warna apa ya om. Trims.
3:24 kabel biru dari socket antenna ketemu kabel biru dari headunit warna sama.

iya, karena headunit ini layarnya tidak bisa dilepas, beda dengan headunit android yang 5jutaan

Blm ada masalah, tp kurang suka dgn merk ini karena kualitasnya kurang. Ram tulisan 2gb tapi kalau dicek pake software real cuman 1gb. Ya maklum jaman sekarang android banyak merk luar mirip tapi dalem beda.
Does the steering wheel controls working?
Yes but first you must "pair" the buttons by going to the settings. It's the same with every radio regardless if its chinese radio or japanese one like kenwood pioneer alpine
@@utakatikmobil yes I know through the setting, but do I need like an interface or module in between ?
@@muzahimkobat25 the wiring is connected to the main harness. When you solder the new radio wiring, there should be 2 wires just for the steering control and it should be connected to the correct wires
