Hi sir I just wanted to say thank you so much for putting out this key information. You've shed light on these issues that I think most building channels shy away from. I hardly ever comment but this video needs sharing and thats exactly what i will do. Everyone needs to start the process so change can start. Again thank you!

Matter of fact, most of these stores don’t have some of the items they display in stock. Their sales rep will waste your time knowing very well they don’t have them in stock. You only find out after you tell them the number or pieces you want. Just like most things, they’ll try to give you what you don’t really want because that’s the only one in stock
We are settling on a lot of things and just like Eric said, if you can build, you can order from china and it’ll be exactly what you need in the quantity you want. Most of these building material stores are owned by Indians, Lebanese and Turkish Nationals who repatriate their profits to their countries

It is a little thicker than the Ks-50 thus my sliding doors are heavy . Bro you feel it when opening and closing. It also looks classy and nice. My artisan convinced me to choose the wall cover type but I did not agree. I opted for the type of trico profile without wall cover. Initially he convinced me to buy Ks-50 but I stood on my ground and purchased Trico.
They don’t have original black profile readily available, it has to be powder coated . But there is one company that has the black color In stock.right now my artisan is praising it probably his first time using it.
There is a price difference between the KS-50 and trico profile but to me it is not a lot.

If China didn’t supply low priced building materials to Africa as a whole, it would be extremely expensive to build because the west would artificially raise all cost for building materials.

    • @GhanabaKwaku

@@GhanabaKwaku This is why Ghana needs a national branded store chain that is privately owned by a corporation like Home Depot, Lowe’s etc. I was originally against such businesses because it took away from local employment but it seems that the local businesses owners are creating a mini hyper inflation on a local scale. Anytime they see the dollar to Cedis ratio rise, they automatically adjust their prices but the issue is when the cedis to dollar ratio goes down they don’t adjust it back to its equal trading value. This is sinister and creates a situation that is frustrating if you are in the middle of a build and you have budgeted for that build only to find out it has increased by 20 to 30 percent. Now I’m seeing business owners huddle together in secret and raise prices in a network of their business and punish anyone who tries and undercut them by sabotaging their connections to the supplier of those materials. It’s very serious sir.
