The last year and a half I've visited many different car meets, especially during the summertime. At most of those car meets, as you'd expect, Mustang owners showed up. Fortunately I have never witnessed a Mustang crash.
So hereby I'd like to show you guys this compilation. It contains clips of Mustangs actually leaving a car show succesfully, instead of crashing into the crowd or spinning out / slamming the curb.

as a bmw guy myself I cant really argue. I find myself being pissed at other bmw drivers all the time because of the way they drive. if you've never driven a bmw, the way the throttle is set up does lead alot of people to drive slugish at first then burst into speed which is contrary to the way most other cars drive. I'm not trying to justify bad driving but it does contribute like how many people have a hard time with mustangs with live axle.

Even though I'm a MOPAR/BMW guy I have had a couple of Mustangs. My first car was a '66 Mustang that I got in 1973 (junior year of high school). That generation #1 Mustang was basically a Ford Falcon with a really nice body/interior. The stock 289 got 214 horsepower, by adding a Holley 4bbl and headers it did get 255 horses on the Dyno. Those Gen#1 Mustangs handled like crap and basically didn't even have Brakes with tiny pads on drum brakes. Still, I drove it rather hard and never put a scratch on it. Anybody who Blames their Car for crashing is an idiot. All cars have their little idiosyncrasies and a Mustang or Corvette are no different. Know YOUR Car and there's no excuse to crash it. I've had some really hot Cars (MOPAR/BMW) and never put a dent in 45 years of driving. Know YOUR Car's limitations.

RESPECT. This one word sums up the difference between these drivers and the ones who crash. The drivers in this video RESPECT their beasts and understand where human input ends and the wild beast takes over. The ones who crash display an arrogance that suggests they think they are in control of the wild horse and quickly learn that you are never really in control of a wild horse, you only have so much reign over it as the amount of respect you give it. Your control ends where arrogance begins. The Mustang is one car that has truly lived up to its name.

I am a JDM type of guy but I can comfortably say that the mustang is definitely a beast considering the price range that it's at and I'm actually thinking of buying one lol. The problem with them is a lot of reckless young people buy them as their first car because they are cheap and then try to impress people and the crash happens. Much respect

See, this just proves what we all knew, which is that it was never the car's fault. Every day, millions of Mustangs are successfully driven to and from places without causing any carnage. It all comes down to the driver having the skills to handle it and the brains to know when they should try. You can almost see some of these people actively thinking "there are people here, so I need to be careful". Others took more risks, but were lucky/skilled enough to get away with it. The Mustang crowdmower meme started because of people trying too hard to show off and thinking they were better at skids than they actually were.
It is because in the USA some mustang owners leave the event with traction control off which is stupid you cant control the car easily. With alot of power the car will swift more because its RWD and high horsepower thats why they crash. If you turn off the traction control you will not handle the car if you were not a perfect driver.

Lars Mars Cars I'm pretty sure the bhp is less on eu models I wasn't sure on the visual looks I'm from the US and we own a dealership driven multiple mustangs and they all seemed a bit slow

the reason why the hp is lower in the eu version is because when they move the steering over to the right side they have to change exhaust manifold on that side to a more restrictive unit

Yea I don't crash lol I did a peel out today like I always do. the reason people crash is cause their kids who can't drive a muscle car when you floor it straight out you loose a lot of control because the back tires are spinning and not the front at the time and you have to correct the wheel. thats why mustangs tend to crash..

The only fucking reason you see so many mustang accidents is because there are so many of them sold, but what is funny is that the Camaro has a higher crash probability than the mustang and the only reason you don’t see as many camaro crashes is because 1 out of every 3 mustangs sold there is a camaro sold.
