This makes Floor the longest lead singer of Nightwish.
Good job, not only did Floor learn the songs in 48 hrs , when she took the stage in Seattle she had been recovering from burnout and had not been on any stage or around any music for about a year and Half . she said she was really nervous

Yes, it is one of the band’s most popular songs, but it was the very first song of that first show. It was also one of only 5 songs they did at Floor’s very first show that they are still doing live in 2022, along with Dark Chest of Wonders, I Want My Tears Back, Nemo, and Last Ride of the Day.

I got so emotional when I first watched the video they made. Its so cool how they made it.
Another concert that is definitely worth watching is Floor's SOLO performance at Pinkpop 2022 .
floor had to perform twice this year at Pinkpop 2022 because she was not only there with Nightwish but also with her solo show.
in her solo show you can see how nice Dutch and ordinary floor is in daily life so nice to see that she keeps her feet on the ground despite all her success with Nightwish and her solo work

I feel sorry for Troy, he is 10 years with the band too.
Already even longer then that. Troy has been involved in Nightwish since 2007. Over the years his role within Nightwish has grown. Eventually he was asked to become a full-time member of Nightwish at the same time as Floor (which was at the start of the Summer Festival season in 2013).

I can't believe you still haven't reacted to Floor in After Forever. That was the band she was in for 12 years (!!!) before Nightish. She joined AF at the very young age of 16... She was at her best and in her peak in this native Dutch band and thought it would last Forever. She was devastated when it ended. Some time after she started a new band and had a burnout. At the end of that burnout she was asked to join Nightwish. But still many fans that already knew Floor in After Forever consider those 12 years as her best. She made the music SHE wanted. After Forever gave her a platform of her own natural musical taste in a way Nightwish never did in quite the same way. Three songs that are nice to start with as new listeners of Floor in After Forever are:

@@enterthecronic Great! Btw I made a small error because Dreamflight is not 2004 but definately a bit later. I think 2007. And I agree with Brendan that Dreamflight is a great one to start with. It is a really progressive song woth a nice interlude. But any of these three songs are great to reavt to :). And many more. After Forever really was a great band that started around the same time as Nightwish and Within Temptation. These are pioneers of the genre in a way. Mark Jansen founded After Forever but was kicked out due to creative differences and then he founded Epica in 2002 and asked his 17 year old girlfriend Simone Simons to become their singer.

Floor Jansen) (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO)" which is one of the best duet after Marko ,Simone Simons andTarja Turunen of course

I cannot explain Tommy to you...you have to witness him for yourselves! He recently posted a cover of Green Day's Basketcase...you're gonna freak out!
But if you're only looking for Nightwish...their tribute to Pink Floyd with High Hopes, live End Of An Era 2005. Marko's vocal is powerful and haunting!
