- Traveling from the United States to the United Kingdom, in search of a grandfathers home before he migrated to the US in 1928...what a crazy journey. We meet the most incredible people in the small town of Dalton-In-Furness, and they were nothing more than gracious and hospitable. In these days we live in, it's a special feeling to make new family from a far. This film is the journey of Jeff and Glenn as we visit the small town of 8,300 people.

What a lovely video! My grandfather was also from Dalton-in-Furness and moved to Canada as a child. I also hope to make this journey someday.

@@freshfilmsllc Very cool. I noticed the photo of them both at the end and wondered if it was photo-shopped but the look on her face said it was authentic.
@@thenightfly1602 Yea, I wonder how many will notice the image at end (not photoshopped). I felt it was important to bring the "envelope" back into it. I shot video of them meeting too, but became too long. Thanks so much! - glenn

totally agree. The challenge was that we had already finished the video, then added that... but I agree. It was the full circle bringing us back to the envelope that completed the story. Thanks for your insight... I will most likely change that to work better
