Not only that, in the Europa League he refereed the final and made very bad desicions. Roma fans (and neutrals) called him out and the VAR-officials admitted they didn't interfere because "He was having a bad game already" 💀💀💀
And recently he refereed a UCL game between Barçelona-Porto and decided to not interfere for a clear penalty🤡.
After that incident he couldn't referee anymore UCL games so he went to Premier League, got demoted to the championship. Then he came back and gave a penalty for a little shirt-pull 😂😂.

It's not just him and Chelsea. The premier league needs to overhaul the entirely of the officiating staff. Not a single ref should keep their job after their performance in the last 2-3 seasons. Enough is enough
I'm an Arsenal fan. I despise Chelsea, But refs like this shouldn't have a job. They don't deserve to get paid for refereeing like this. Refs who make calls like that should be fired immediately. No second chances. It'll prove a good warning to other refs who want to screw over a team.

There is nothing wrong with var or the rules. The problem is that more than 40% of all EPL officials were born in or currently reside in the greater Manchester area. That's why on average the Manchester clubs are favoured by the refs and their rivals suffer. That's also why that despite the apparent dominance of the Manchester clubs over many years they have performed poorly in Europe because they have no influence there. We have the best players, coaches, mangers, owners, hell even fans from all over the WORLD. Yet our officials are all from England and the vast majority are from Manchester. This is the source of the corruption. It's not ineptitude, it's much more sinister and people are finally waking up!

Walker one is debatable, why would he intentionally stop Edersons clearance? Surely it probably works out better for Chelsea if it’s blocked than if it isn’t. Plus, the Haaland one too, they were both pulling at each other, Haaland stopped but Cucurella continued and dragged him down, so no call for the initial bit, call for the last bit.

I don't believe any of the refs are cheats. They sometimes make very poor decisions, but that's human error. Also, bear in mind that even if they make a bad decision against a team, they have to start from scratch the next time they referee a game with that team i.e. no compensating for any previous errors.

A lot of decay has taken over the officiating in EPL. One day soon, everyone will get fed up about it for real.
Right now people are angry about it, but it’ll get to a point where now something has to be done about it. Many others mushroomed after this man when he was demoted…promoted.
He has refereed in my country decisive game in our European qualifiers which led to our first earo in our history and didn't give us a clear penelty from a hendball in thier box which prevented a 1 v 1 pass.

Over the last 6 seasons, Chelsea has significantly fewer average points/game when AT is refereeing their game compared to any other referee in the PL.

For the people who actually play football, after years of playing myself I realized that its almost always the person who retaliates that gets the punishment and not the first offender. I'm not sure if it's written in the rule books but it's not worth retaliating if at all possible.
Then he went on to ref in Switzerland against Israel in the Euro qualifiers and ignored the most obvious handball ever that ultimately would've changed greatly the course of the game

Run it back to the start of the season when Taylor didn’t give the penalty in the Liverpool game after disasi blatantly handballed the ball which prevented jota from scoring a header off of the corner which allowed chelsea to get back in the game and resulted in a draw, so he hasn’t gave every decision against Chelsea’s favor

The penalty call re: Haaland was correct or at least plausibly correct. Referees are instructed to look for "contact with consequence". Haaland's pull of Chelsea shirt is irrelevant to the play and something you see dozens of times a game. Cucurella pulling Haaland's shirt prevents Haaland from challenging for the ball.
It doesn't belong in a video with objectively wrong calls, that's for sure.

I will admit he’s getting old and is less alert in the game but he has served the premier league for years I reckon they ask him to leave and give him a proper sending off after his service to the game.
As a referee I can say yes he makes allot of bad calls but so does every referee and we referees are hated by everyone so honestly the fact he has the confidence to keep officiating these games at the highest level and tempo I can’t imagine how many mistakes I would make but he isn’t a bad ref he’s just another referee we all suck cuz we are human and never perfect but I am sure he tries his hardest and in interviews he comes across that way and I mean just look at his fitness and the job he has! He is a professional at the highest level Cummon now!
