Absolutely fabulous trip. The photography and the music in this movie are outstanding. I would go back tomorrow, even having been there three times.

If you guys love emperor penguins like I do check out one of best documentary’s I’ve ever seen. It’s on Netflix. Penguins spy in the middle. They set up a penguin spy cam and get really great footage it’s just one hell of a documentary. Now that I’ve looked I guess they took it off Netflix? That sucks maybe you guys can find it elsewhere. Emperors are my favorite penguins. They are so cool and very very smart. The little ones are so cute and rely on the parents thru blizzard conditions

BTW: Don't expect much until around the 8:45 mark. That's when they finally get to the colony and it's definitely worth watching. And I'm not sharing this info in order to come off as "whatever"(one would call it). I'm doing so for people that don't necessarily have a ton of patience, who may skip out after the first couple of minutes of not seeing anything. I know, Yes, there are glaciers, a lot of natural beauty around the area and all that. Not knocking any of it. But I couldn't have been the only person who clicked on it to see Emperor Penguins. So if you want where the colony is finally shown, 8:45 is where you wanna be.😉👍🏻

interesting fact : emperor penguins have no narutal LAND predators (no Polar bears do not live in Antartica) so when they see us Humans, they're confused but are no scared of us at all, some experts say they see us as weird looking penguins

We are at the top of the food chain. But Penguins are not afraid of us humans. We need to keep this weird and beautiful relationship with them.
They aren't afraid because they never see humans so have no instinct to be afraid.
