You guys are high, and Colts fans have been laughing about this on local radio. We have Buckner. We just resigned Grover Stewart, AND brought in a free agent DT from Miami. That’s one of the areas we have the most depth. Fun fact, Ballard has never picked an interior defensive lineman in the top 100 picks. Ridiculous.

They’re also high as balls thinking New England is gonna roll out Bailey Zappe during a year they have the 3rd overall pick and potentially best QB draft in a decade +
Glad you said this. I was coming here for the same thing. I've seen multiple mocks putting Murphy to the Colts (my team). If Quinyon Mitchell goes before 15, I would guess that they either take BTJ or trade back into the late first and Grab AD Mitchell and an extra 2nd to shore up some holes.

He showed a lot of good flashes in the few games that he did play before the shoulder injury, and while naturally there are injury concerns, it's already been reported that he's throwing and the surgery was also able to repair some unhealed damage from what he was in high school.

The Bears pick at 9 is their own. The 1st pick was Carolina’s pick from the trade last year. They will not pass up Alabama’s Turner if available even if Odunze is available

Why are the Pats always predicted to trade down when they also don’t have a QB?
The roster is horrible so they could really stunt the development of a rookie. If they trade back they get fill out the rest of the roster so that when they get one later they’ll have an easier time.

I am not a Giants' fan and believe Daboll hurts the team by playing wide receivers like a basketball head coach that gives 9 players equal playing time. It doesn't work in football. Players need to get 65% or more of the snaps in a game to be in sync and in the flow. Jalin Hyatt needs to play to stretch the defense.

There is no reason for the Cards to trade their 4th pick, their biggest need is a WR and they can get a Fitzgerald type player in Marvin Harrison Jr. or probably Nabers. Would be the dumbest move ever, there are a lot more good edge rushers in the later rounds

I would love to see them do a mock draft on the second round, after listing the thirty-two players that went in the hypothetical first round. Let us get to know players 33 through 64 of this upcoming draft.
I just don’t know how many more times I can hear all of JJ McCarthy’s pros and cons… Or why Marvin Harrison Junior is the best wide receiver in this year‘s draft.

In the unlikely scenario the Patriots don't draft a QB at 3 (which is a near certainty) and decide to take a Wide Receiver - despite having absolutely no offensive line or QB - why on earth would they trade down for Nabers when Marvin Harrison Jr is available at 3?
Because they'd get two extra picks and still get a comparable receiver. They're not trading down for anything less than a #1 next year plus something else. But I think if they're picking at 6 they're taking Alt and going with a WR later in the draft.

I just like the idea of the giants staying put and picking a wide receiver. If it doesn’t work out with Daniel Jones this year, you set the offense up well for someone new. A real shame they didn’t offer Barkley a long-term deal, but I don’t know the specifics of the team’s cap situation. I don’t think it’s a bad idea to get younger and cheaper at running back either, just hard losing a player like that.
As a Packers fan if the draft is going to play out like that it will be an absolute roller coaster of emotions… from not trading up for DeJean, to still being able to select him, only to skip on him and the Lions picking him up 3 spots later 😂

Nationally I don't see the perception that Jags could move up but I believe they're really considering. Main thing is will Odunze be there at #9 and would the Jags give enough for the Bears to move back. That's how I see it, if not Odunze I think they stay put and could go best available OL still or corner. Not sure they go for AD Mitchell or Worthy.

Green Bay signed a safety in free agency and have a very capable safety on the roster already. They are not drafting Tyler Nubin. They are looking for linemen on both sides and a really good kicker if there are any. If they see a QB they can develope and trade in a few years, you already know they will draft him.

Packers do love DBs but they also take high RAS guys, especially early on. With Nubin's poor athletic showing, no way they go with Nubin - its just not happening, either with him or Kinchens. With DeJean still on the board, HE would be the pick every time over Nubin. This is a terrible take - I'm not sure if Nubin and Kinchens are even on the Packers big board.......at all. Lance Zierlein needs to understand how different teams approach the draft, specifically how Green Bay does and what they look for. Looking at this take, its obvious he doesn't.

I’m fully convinced these guys really don’t watch the games. The Pats are not devoid any of talent. Why is this a narrative? Then they feed this narrative to fans who haven’t watched many Pats games and they think the same. They lack some talent at WR and a QB and it was just time for a new voice (Head Coach). They have a top 10 defense, star CB and decent OL. Stevenson is a decent RB and Henry is a good TE. They are much closer to being a good team than most of these team drafting in the top 10.
There’s no reason to not take a QB at 3.
