Some people talk about this guy needing help as if assaults are a thing like depression. Dray should be arrested. If it’s assault off the court, it should be assault on the court. Professional sports leagues shouldn’t be allowed to conduct their own law enforcement. Maybe the threat of arrest and jail time will bring these dudes back down to Earth.
I agree with you, but I think it is unlikely that the victims here would press charges. There would be a lot of peer pressure against that, and they would think that would make them look "weak". However, if they sustained a career-ending injury, the legal ramifications would be absolutely enormous for him, his team, and the league -- all would be culpable.
