True you don't see much Himeko besides some Vermilion Knight even that's scarce her damage output isn't as huge as HoF or even Spina Astrea, but you can make her work. Oh and trust me you need at least one Himeko when you need to hit at least 25 combo, but you're too strong and can't maintain a flow because everything just get one hit, at times like that man do I appreciate my Himeko whom I kept at lvl 50
In the first chapter and the second to last mission, the mechs were such a pain, they were so goddam slow, especially when you start moving, it just built up and when you fought with them on close range enemies that you kinda need to move to, that annoyed the heck out of me, especially the second one
Yeah, Its funny how he says "genshin has better graphics", both games has good graphics (would even say Ult animations are way better in honkai but that's just my point of view)
Honkai is just way more lewd. You even saw the female glorious treasurey golden hole through the panties. Well the split atleast. Honkai is way more lewd meanwhile Genshin is barely lewd except for Lisa.
Agreed. If someone doesn't like a game, they need to move on instead of comparing it to other games and then going as far as making excuses as to why their comparison should be okay.
Just depends on the person and what they prefer when it comes to gacha games so for me and my friend Genshin is better but for others that may be different y’know? So neither are bad or good; just equal
The amount of storage they take is similar, but as a mobile user who plays Genshin and Honkai, Honkai Impact takes more space from me. But it honestly depends on what you've been doing in-game. The reason why Honkai takes more is because I prioritize it. I haven't played Genshin in weeks so I've been missing updates. But in PC, I can guarantee Genshin takes more.

Yep. Honkai is like, "look at here! We have depression, depression, and uh... Depression!" While Genshin is more low-key (kinda, in some scene/quest atleast)
@@WAVE00799the depression is there, it's just usually hidden in the archives, artifact descriptions, character story, etc. I tried to avoid it, but a part of it blasted me in the face after the 4.2 archon quest
Something I don’t see anyone mentioning are the events. Gameplay wise: Genshin is very limited due to its forced adherence to the perspective of the traveller. Everything you do in Genshin is in the third person and is unable to be changed. In Honkai, they’re free to make as diverse a game mode they want (as long as the character are the same as in-game). Last update we had a game mode close to PvZ and now we have fall guys. Events story wise: reiterating my statement from earlier, Genshin is forced to stay stuck to the traveller’s storyline. No event can come back the same way after each release. Plus crucial story plots for certain characters motivations are locked to these specific events. Honkai, on the other hand, can use any character it wants to make a story because of the multiverse. Plus there is a literal completely separate storyline spanning several events that are re-running with their only changes being rewards. I hope you like my endless rambling essay comparing two games made by the same company. ~ sincerely a traveller and a captain.
@@anameig9332 did they have chibis though? All seriousness, the two games have 2 different settings with two somewhat different goals in mind with story. Genshin is forced to be stuck with the traveller and (even though it isn’t a truly terrible thing) you only can get so much variation in look without breaking style.
On the downside tho, as a honkai player reading through dialogue and texts just feels so much more like a chore, considering that they don't rely on animation character speaking and mostly the players imagination (like reading a novel sorta). While genshin dialogue just feels more lively bc we got to see the actual characters talking real time and interacting with one another (idk it's hard to describe). But atleast honkai have a skip button tho
As someone who plays both... I somehow like honkai better, it's just that you start liking all the characters because you've got the time to get to know them properly Edit: Didn't expect it to blow up like that-
You saying as if you don't get that in genshin, its just that you need to also play the events, but from what i saw its the same for honkai too so they are quite equal in this terms aswell
@@Vedhon But in honkai, it's focused on the story of three girls and their journey, they stay. In genshin, there are so many characters, of course they are not all playing a very important part. And the events... I don't know. Yea, with them characters are more memorizable, but it's still not the same. The main story doesn't focus on them, what means, if you aren't interested in characters in the first place, you might never know more about them (Hope my english is readable)
@@X-dream exactly you only focus on three girls, because they are the main characters, in genshin you focus on aether/lumine in fact even the events build up their characters a bit too
@@Vedhon Not really. In honkai, even the side characters are important because there are only few of them, and they come back once in a while (RIP Himeko) but in genshin... If you want to use the events as an example, we don't get to know to much about their personality in the events. Also not the main story. They are just a replacement of the traveler, or us, a little bit more than in honkai we, the captain
@@X-dream if you are saying characters don't get much development in the events then you are either not playing them at all or not paying any attention to them at all
World and Graphics: Genshin (Ofc Open World) End Game Content: Honkai (ER,Abyss/Superstring and Memorial while Genshin only have Spiral Abyss) Story: Honkai (Because of one thing they are not afraid to kill a Characters to progress the story unlike in Genshin Because of the profit and Community outraged) Gacha: both are worst (Genshin has one of the worst rate and 50/50 you need atleast 180 wish to get the guarantee specially in the weapons banner. Honkai on the other hand got the most expensive pulls but the good part is you only need 100 pulls for the Character banner to get guarantee and no 50/50 while the stigmata and weapon banner is quite ok) Powerscaling: Honkai ( Honkai Impact powerscaling is more powerful than Genshin. A single Herrscher might solo Teyvat) Gears and Weapon: Honkai ( Farmable Weapons and Stigmata with Gacha that always guarantee to get a 4 star Weapon or stigmata in every 10 pulls meanwhile in Genshin you will have to Face RNGesus itself to get a better artifacts and Weapon) Character Designs: Honkai (better Character designs overall unlike Genshin who have to follow a strict CCP Law) Combat System: Genshin ( Because of the Elemental reactions and didn't base on meta unless you play in abyss) Reading Materials/ Manga: Honkai (Genshin only has 1 manga while Honkai got more) Anime adaptation: Genshin (the First Hoyoverse Game to receive an anime) Music/Concert: Honkai ( Far more better music and also Honkai Dream Euphony is one of the best Hoyoverse Concert i ever heard) Community: Honkai (Chill Community unlike Genshin who become more toxic over time like Giving Death Threats to the VA and always think that they are always right) This is my opinion for a lvl 88 captain with 4 years of gaming experience and a AR 60 Traveler with 2 years of experience..
Genshin is better than you think, this comment makes it sound terrible and for Honkai there was an update that deleted my acc before I even started PLAYING (I made and acc and did a pretty basic playthrough) plus there's no Eng VA's as far as I know and it gives me a headache listening to JP and Chinese
@@Danmei_fan.ryy06 and also JP Va is far more superior that English VA.. because i watch anime and sometimes some of my Favorite VA are in the game too.. the Only English Va in Genshin i like is Zhongli's English VA..
coming back from just finishing act V of sumeru, i can tell they are definitley improving. act V is quite long but i was rlly invested and didnt get bored at all.
gonna be completely honest, I love both games, but one issue that they both have is how clustered the events are for newer players. Honkais elysian realm is an absolute HELL for new players. not because of the play style, but because you can't enjoy the story being told. The story won be over though, as complicated as it is I'm all for it. especially Mei and kiana reuniting.
I mean, honkai is also just long text or characters talking to each other for half your playtime while genshin story for the most part just sits in the corner for like 95% of the game like any good video game story, let's just say genshin story knows it's place while being good enough to be novel whenever it does get to shine. While honkai is like Jesus Christ let me play the game for God's I don't care let me just hit stuff please I beg of you stop wasting my time with stupid ass cutscenes and annoying ass main character please for the love of God stop being an anime and start being a video game.... Sorry about that
When it comes to the storylines, it's not a matter of which one is better. They're two completely different stories, which means they'll each garner the attention of very different audiences. If more people don't like Genshin's story than they do Honkai's, that doesn't make Genshin's story bad, it just means that a majority of people just aren't into that plot type. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it.
I honestly prefer Honkai. Why? Because I played it before Genshin and has nearly gotten all Valkyries. Also because it's easier to get crystals and grind for mats. Also the Anniversary rewards are amazing..I just can't get enough.
The anniversary event is fire, the thing that genshin can never do, the rewards in honkai thicc fr, in genshin kinda petty. But idc the could've done much more than just throwing primos at us
Bursts like (sucrose, yae) which HAVE to target the nearest enemy are my bane. They always target that isolated enemy behind you instead of the group of 4 in front of you.
@@jonumine6250 same for venti, that’s why I use kazuha, instead of aiming the middle point of the enemies, just shot the blackhole at a small grp of enemies, and leave the others free
For the Valkyries, on some accounts it takes me to soft pity to get them. I got Senti and Flamescion in 30 pulls together, grateful and all. Now I'm trying to get flamescion gear about 50ish pulls in, only got her weapon and a stigmata. Everything else is off-rates.
Everything is up to preference. If you like the full on anime-style and not the 3D style, that's a you thing. That doesn't mean that Honkai is better (OR WORSE) than Genshin. Both games are amazing, it's just up to players' preferences.
@@ChoiShi0822 I didn’t say honkai is better, I actually quit honkai. All I said was that the scenes are. well I’d say some, we’re maybe, yes, better. It’s just more detail and I don’t think that’s much of a me thing if it’s not from preference, and just the matter of the detail and animation. I still prefer genshin cut scenes and that’s a me thing.
@@ChoiShi0822 Just a note, but Honkai's cutscenes are 3d. They're animated in engine, with a bit of flair added that isn't usually in the base gameplay. Same as Genshin. The only one that I can remember not being in 3d the whole time, was Because of You. Which used an old anime art-style and film boarder for a portion of it, for stylistic and thematic purposes.
Honkai and genshin are really different games so it's hard to compare them but about the story thing i think genshin story is extremely good and it's going very well and i can say the same thing about honkai, but genshin it's a fairly new game with 3.2 coming out in some days and honkai's 6.1 just released with the story having 31 chapters for now (i think it was 31) so honkai has far more content and they had more time to work with the story But we can all agree that the best thing about these games are the design, especially character designs on both of them, an example is nahida and the vodka twins, they have really unique and pretty gameplays, with nahida creating a palace with her ult and being able to interact with material and npcs in a completly different way, and the vodka twins having different attacks, animations and skills when both lylia and rosaliya are on the team
@@anosvoldigoad1618 yes is obvios who is the more popular but that does not make a game better, in the time genshin has right now honkai lore was already incredible, genshin story is just too slow
i don't know about you but sumeru's archon quest is the best one out of all the chapters and it's not even finished yet. I'm still looking forward to that first playable character death where xiao could've had a great death moment
5 months later, came to say there is no way you can compare both games in terms of story. Honkai has a lot of mangas, a complicated story that has a ton of pieces, and a lot of character development. Meanwhile, genshin can have good moments, cannot compare to what honkai already achieved.
@@haseebbarya8294 I'm saying, while sure it can be good, the set pieces for all stuff in honkai impact have already been placed, like a complicated story slowly revealed while progressing, and some others are scattered in mangas, as much as i know, genshin didn't and will not achieve for a long time, maybe a bit shorter now that the main plot is done, but still.
gettimg characters in hi3 is cheaper, but building them is very expensive, because their signature kits are often locked behind gacha. hi3 is exepensive, while gi is time consuming
Depends on the character some characters will be ok with craftable weapons and stigmatas since they dont need thier spefic gear you can if you want but some dont need em specially since some supports gets by craftable stuff.
Not all of the time, majority of the older characters or average S rank characters stigmata sets are in universal mirage shop to be farmed. Then you have special S ranks like Vii-V where you get a stigmata box, so you only need two of their stigmatas and weapon. And there's always budget options for DPS characters, it's the supports you need to work on first.
you don't need their original stigmata just use handel for lightning dps willows for ice dps elysia for physical dps for fire dps you can use leeuwenhoek and thales and almost stigmata you need for each attribute already in foundry Edit : the stigmata i said is already in foundry and can be create if you have enough material
Depends on the preference of the player. If one prefers a limited cluster of characters with the plot that focuses on the development of said characters and a very detailed development of secondary characters too, more recurrence of said characters, a dynamic combat and doesn’t mind the lack of an open world, then honkai is the game for you. If one prefers more a world building focused storyline, a wider number of characters to see and get, a less intrusive protagonist, a storyline partly explained and partly hinted by scattered hints (books, artifacts, items, character lines), a wider, amazingly beautiful world design, more grind (artifacts), a less dynamic and varied combat play but with more elemental reactions, then Genshin is better for you. The things that one might consider downsides of a game, might be the point that makes another like that game, and viceversa. And some just appreciate both, because we play each game for a different reason. Edit… I shouldn’t write an essay at 1am with a fever… 😢
Okay, I'm a honkai veteran, and I almost have every character, and I don't have a SINLGE full set for one of my S ranks. I have most of the characters though. Got lucky with Herrscher of Human: Ego and have an ice dps! F2P is the best way because you work harder to get just as good as everyone else! 4 years of playing and I love it. I also started playing Genshin and I love it. I'm only AR 24, but I have all Mondstat, Liyue, and 3.1 Sumeru Statue of the Seven unlocked! Got lucky with standard pulls and got a 5 star in my first 2 pulls, but it was skyward pride. My nahida pulls AR saving up, and I love both games. I can also make my friend F2P no more!
I think Honkai is a bit better when it comes to drop rates Like the one for a 5* character in genshin is 0.6% (0.3% for guarantee) Wheras honkai it's 1.2% I think And for artifacts/Stigmata, stigmata do the same thing and the only possible bad thing is affixes like PSY resistance. (Which are rerollable without having to get another one) Wheras in genshin, you have to do tons and tons of rerolling for a decent artifact even with a 50/50 chance of being on set. Ik my pfp makes me look biased, I started in genshin and then went on to Honkai because of burn out
I find it weird finding people opposite of me, I started genshin first and have played it since the start and afterwards decided to play honkai but got burn out and bored after playing it for like 5 days. The only reason why I continue to play honkai is because of elysia
It's 1.5% actually and it statistically lowers the chance when you approach closer to pity Stigmata and weapon banners are a real pain tho most of the time I got dupe off rates Personally hi3 expansion supply is GG ez I usually got character card at 75-98 pity but focused is real suffering though like I mentioned Genshin gacha is shit I only get early twice, and lost 9 50/50s out of 10. All of that still can't get jean and tighnari. Then there's some players who always wins 50/50 Weapon banner idk but I did got homa from it I'm happy. They didn't need set 3/3 for pity though just 2 is enough of a scam
Also I want to add, genshin sell you the world of teyvet. We don’t really get to see the world of honkai outside of trio eyes. While genshin we get too see a bunch of small details.
That’s because that’s part of the purpose of the games. Genshin is literally an open world, so they have to build up the world and allow you to explore while also giving lore on what happened in the past, lore about the current time, ect, while honkai is NOT an open world, so they don’t need to do any world building. Plus, it would probably be confusing since there isn’t necessarily just a set place/world in honkai. They’re constantly moving around, and a lot of characters have different stories in different settings. In conclusion, I don’t think you can compare the two games based on world building lol, sorry for the rant
In my opinion, Genshin's story is AMAZING. I've never played Honkai so I'm not saying it's better, cause I wouldn't know, but I wouldn't call it "boring". The amount of detail they put in to the history of EVERYTHING in the game is just astounding. The only issue is that the main "goal" is meant to be finding your twin, but it is hardly mentioned in the story. The story is still AMAZING though! (Please no 3.2 archon quest spoilers)
You might be confusing lore with the story, Genshin's lore is really good but it's story is nothing to write home about, it has good beats but then goes on a long slog. If you enjoy Genshin's story I really recommend you try honkai's out, I highly recommend it.
@@neelankoopman3718 true like i absolutely love genshin lore but the main stories actually had me begging mhy to add a skip button (esp the first few acts of the sumeru archon quest; the last act was good though-)

I don’t think it’s fair to compare the 2 games, they are VERY fundamentally different on PURPOSE. One is not objectively better or worse than the other because they are striving to achieve different things.
When it comes to the story I think its mainly just your preference. The way I see it, Genshin's story is more world based and its lore focuses more on the world building than the actual characters. But you can learn more about the characters it's just that you'll have to dig into side stuff and not just the main story. As for Honkai Impact, its story is more character driven as even the side characters have their moments to shine. So it really just depends on what kind of stories you prefer and this is also just my take on how their stories are like.
Say what you will about both games, I’m just glad that there is no *50/50* system in Honkai, you’re 100% guaranteed the character you want in their banner when you reach soft/hard pity.
@@tridon7327 can't do the abyss and already finished all the hangouts and story quest but they are pretty boring and I barely do world exploration bc it's extremely boring. I will say that genshin's story is easier to get into rather than honkai, I forget what chapter I'm on because I stopped playing honkai a while ago, but I'm like maybe 18 chapters in? And I have no idea what the story is about.
The main question is do you skip dialogues if you dunno the honkai story then your skipping dialogues and well reading the manga helps since honkai cant fit everything in the game.
@@scarletrose8766 It probably would but I don't think I'll read it since I would prefer the game to tell the story, plus its hard for me to get into manga or even books in general unless I physically have it, which I'm assuming honkai doesn't have a physical release. I'll probably just look up a summary video instead, and just stop when I've reached the point I am in game.
@@lordlyka68 there is the honkai chronicles that might help theres the introduction then the life of both mei and kiana (dunno if they made any other chronicles just yet)

Beginning of Honkai story is so bad…it assumes you’ve read the manga and/or played previous games so everything feels rlly abrupt. I literally deleted the game a couple years ago and redownloaded thinking there was something wrong with my game or that I hadn’t downloaded all necessary assets. Still nothing. When playing the chapter with Wendy in it, I kept looking online for the story bits (which contained what I saw in game) throughout the levels cuz there was no story-once again, I downloaded all assets thinking it was my device’s issue. Still nothing. Mei also becomes a Herrscher like 10 mins into the game…. I’m aware that the story is good-I cried many times in thus spoke apocalypse-but like, the new player experience is just SO. BAD.
That's how it meant to be, you don't really want a fetching and walking sim quest do you? That's why genshin is not suitable for people that has less patience or does not like to read
I think that’s mainly up to personal preference, but in my opinion, honkai has better music. With the trailer music for characters, animation music, boss theme music or even just background music when you’re playing the story can either get you to bop your head or just start crying lmao, genshin has more traditional music, this is just my opinion though
Almost 400 days honkai player And almost 700 days genshin player. Here and still counting Plays honkai 3-5 hrs a day Plays genshin less than an hour a day

Lol A post honkai oddessy which is one of honkais open world part has a playable male and while its part of the story you get to play another male character in honkai. Just saying honkai do be letting you play some dudes just not many.
I started honkai months ago. Played for a couple of days, dropped it, came back 1-2 months later and to this day keep on repeating the process. Because the story is good, but I hate the combat mechanics. I know so many people love them, but as a pc player the way the camera moves drives me insane, I feel like I never have a good sense of all that's going on. In genshin sometimes we can't really see what we are doing either, amidst all the enemies, explosions and numbers, but I personally still prefer it.
from my experience, honkai's gacha system is more forgiving than genshin's because 50/50 doesnt exist. it's just that the ceiling for hard pity is raised (to 100 instead of genshin's 90, which is fair game considering how generous mihoyo is with crystals)
Agree , example ER character full of death FlameChaser member(real Mobius and real Griseo status still unknown, Fu Hua and Kevin alive, and the rest is dead). But still they are playable (even though Kevin is just Will of Stigmata playable for temporary/one time in story)
They are never gonna remove your ability to use dead characters that be stupid cause if that happens its stupid you have a lotta dead people in honkai not gonna drop names but theres a lot of em.
Both games are great in their own right. To say which is better doesn’t really mean anything other than a preference. Both are beautiful forms of art. Created by this awesome thing called Mihoyo
First genshin visuals compared to honkai are actually bad the very 1st point of world and graphics is that world wise exploration genshin wins but graphics and visuals wise honkai wins. So i do say both get a point on the 1st part

Speaking of events my only issue with genshin only one ...... There are lore locked behind special events that new player wont get to see ever cause that event is done im like why put a lore into the game locked behind an event thats not coming back.
Genshin has a severe lack of endgame content, where as honkai has weekly and 3 day rotations of end game stuff that pretty much guarantees a crap ton of f2p crystals from elysian realm Finality, superstring dimensions and memorial arena
Fair enough...but i think both have their own specialty and weaknesses so i wanted to respect other people's taste by saying both equally great in their own way
Just depends on what type of games the person who’s playing likes. For me genshin wins in all regards just bc I know how to play way better and it’s just more fun to me
As a genshin player, i dont rlly like Honkai's battle and exploring stuff... No offense yall! But i feel wayyyyy more free in genshin, and ig it just feels different.
I started Genshin first, now Honkai is my favourite game. I've never won a 50/50 in Genshin I've played over a year however in Honkai I get characters in one ten pull enjoying Honkai more, I just can't seem to like Genshin much anymore 😭
Genshin - better animations & graphics(as in open world exploring) , why? The animation in genshin is way more realistic than in honkai , the weight distribution and everything is so detailed where as in honkai everything just feels off , no weight distribution in animations , way to unrealistic , even for a mech based game....(don't come to crying to me about to 2d cut scene,) its not even a game at that point , just anime!! - i prefer fantasy over mecha ,idk mecha just feels like ass to mee , the only reason i like pubg nore than any other batttle royal coz it wasn't that mechanic unlike other games with laserblasters , same reason ( pubg got way more realistics animations and graphics than the other battle royals) - honkai is better in story at the moment , genshin is slow paced , still have hope , but yea not gonn expect anything from the story , 3.2 was good tho! ( I've played both)
Honkai i think is very far from an actual Mecha game. Its more like a futuristic game with elements of Mecha as the main focus is "ancient magic" which is honkai energy. Ngl im more of a fan of honkai animations. They are unrealistic, but thats honestly what makes them good for people like me.
Why are people comparing the two games?? They're literally made by the same company and they both cover two different things. In terms of open world, I'll give genshin that because that's what it specializes in. In Honkai, I'll give them the story point because the story is very immersive, and it only gets better (and depressing) with time. I've played genshin since it came out and Honkai since the Eva Update. Honestly, its kind of silly to compare the two. Both do exceedingly well with what they cover and comparing them is the most ridiculous thing people can do.
Basically it's to get enough topic to trigger each community. After all Genshin and Honkai fans would defend their own if the other says, mine better in term of blablabla or For me this one better blablabla
Bound to happen. Since you know both are made from the same company, They will question the quality of course. On analogy, It's like comparing who's better in the company.
It comes to taste in the end but as a seasoned player in both I can tell, the grind in Genshin is boring but at the least every new set of gear is free, stigmas are gacha in Honkai and those which are grindable will take literally months to farm just 1 set of 3 pieces, he also mentions that most valks are easier to get, which is true but biased, most valks are useless now due to extreme powercreep and those who are left really need at the least their signature weapon and many will also need gear if you expect yourself to be competitive since Honkai is all about edgame after lvl 81, I think Honkai would be more popular if it wasn't so hard on F2P/small spenders since it's a great game, this comes from someone who whaled and had a lot of fun but now I don't feel motivation for it anymore for the previous reasons, meanwhile I can have a lot of fun in Genshin as a small spender
Tbh i find genshins combat for it not being a combat game kind of better just because in honkai u can like spam a button on one character and just like do nothing it doesnt feel as challanging as in genshin
You sure about that means you havent reach red lotus exalted yet one button eh boy you better be learning character rotation in honkai otherwise you aint surviving abyss.

If you ask me, the grind in both games is pretty brutal. It takes me way too long to forge a set of stigmata for someone, not to mention getting the Honkai cubes needed to level up weapons.
I'm level 73 in Honkai Impact and AR 56 in Genshin, and here's my burning hot take: Genshin's combat system is more fun that Honkai Impact Genshin's combat feels much more refined and polished and this is shown even better during the Scaramouche boss fight. Honkai Impact feels extremely button-mashy.
For me i prefer the fantasy setting in genshin more than mecha. I think it's also for others who prefer mecha over fantasy. Really preference. Hopefully Genshin can pick it's story up, but i have hopes bc of sumeru. But yeah honkai had more time so
Well to be fair as far as i know Will of the Herrscher came out 1 year after honkai debut ..... Which is much faster than genshins archon quest which took them 2 ...... And Will of the Herrscher is the kick start to Honkai.
Honkai maybe good on combat, but the hidden mechanics under the surface suck. Valkyrs crit is determined not only on CRT, but also on level. And higher the valkyr level, the less they crit.
So you guys needs to save primogems for your most wanted characters? I do that too, and I can also farm for them. Also there is no such thing as rate off system. Once you hit the pity, you will get that character no 50/50 lol. The story will makes you cry, depressed, and sad for long time, while the other game is pretty much just you being the errand boy for a God, solving their problem, and usually not getting anything useful to get you closer to your main goal: Your Lost Sibling.
Free to play that can get all the characters? No shot, at least on genshin. I can assure you as a 1st day player that stopped playing around patch 2.6. It's just not possible to get the 5 stars you want unless you save an ungodly amount of months, playing everyday
I tried Honkai several times but I can’t bring myself to get addicted to it. I’ve quit and returned many times and I think the wishing system in Honkai is harder than Genshin, moreover it requires a lot of grinding to get the character you want and the rewards arent that great. The amount of storage they take is similar, but as a mobile user who plays Genshin and Honkai, Honkai Impact takes more space from me. But it honestly depends on what you've been doing in-game.
I completely agree with you
Genshin had fall guys too, windblume, kinda
@@frecasfam Not really a downside, since ewe have a skip button, but alot of Genshin dialgue is so long and boring, but we still have no skip button😒

And there's always budget options for DPS characters, it's the supports you need to work on first.
you don't need their original stigmata just use handel for lightning dps
willows for ice dps
elysia for physical dps
for fire dps you can use leeuwenhoek and thales
and almost stigmata you need for each attribute already in foundry
Edit : the stigmata i said is already in foundry and can be create if you have enough material
@@Cotarusan Yea the support powercreep is insane.
As a F2P HI3 player for more than 4years now.... SSS characters doesn't matter that much... Weapons and stigmas matter...

I think Honkai is a bit better when it comes to drop rates
Like the one for a 5* character in genshin is 0.6%
(0.3% for guarantee)
Wheras honkai it's 1.2% I think
And for artifacts/Stigmata, stigmata do the same thing and the only possible bad thing is affixes like PSY resistance. (Which are rerollable without having to get another one)
Wheras in genshin, you have to do tons and tons of rerolling for a decent artifact even with a 50/50 chance of being on set.

Genshin gacha is shit I only get early twice, and lost 9 50/50s out of 10. All of that still can't get jean and tighnari. Then there's some players who always wins 50/50
Weapon banner idk but I did got homa from it I'm happy. They didn't need set 3/3 for pity though just 2 is enough of a scam

BAD.
Genshin quests: 85% dialogue, 10% "go to this place", 5% combat.
That's how it meant to be, you don't really want a fetching and walking sim quest do you? That's why genshin is not suitable for people that has less patience or does not like to read
Honkai quests:70% combat,20% dialogue,5% go to somewhere and 5% anime cutscenes
@@Austrian_painter27396 honkai literally has hours of pure dialogue
@@fiyibomiolabodeBut it also has a skip feature, which reduces that time 🤷♀️
@@jadaa_.33wont reduce time if u dont skip it
I love Genshin but honkai as something more the cinematics the character they have something magical like elysia and his cinematics who is incredible
u forgot to add the music category which i think genshin dominates.
Mihoyo dosent miss in music so it dosent count both sides are a banger one is more depressing than the other but nonetheless still a banger.
I would give music to Honkai because two words. Moon halo
I think that’s mainly up to personal preference, but in my opinion, honkai has better music. With the trailer music for characters, animation music, boss theme music or even just background music when you’re playing the story can either get you to bop your head or just start crying lmao, genshin has more traditional music, this is just my opinion though
Nightglow is the saddest
Almost 400 days honkai player
And almost 700 days genshin player. Here and still counting
Plays honkai 3-5 hrs a day
Plays genshin less than an hour a day
My fren played genshin 4 hours everyday
Your friend probably below 400 days of playing. I used to play like that too. If your friend tries honkai, farm gears and manage to adopt the complex gameplay, he might focus the action on honkai.
900+ day Honkai captain here and I play several hours per day every day. I never get bored of it ^^
@@inari.gaming i think i would play several hours too after breaking through from masters to exalted. The competition is extreme and everybody wants to be on top lol
1600 day captain here, 2 hours per day and it’s still fun and I’ve played genshin since release too
The lore and story of genshin is crafted very beautifully. With the recent archon quest, things get a lot deeper
I really hope that someday i will be as immersed in genshin's storyline as I am now in honkai's
I prefer genshin simply because it's an open world game + it actually has playable male characters
Lol A post honkai oddessy which is one of honkais open world part has a playable male and while its part of the story you get to play another male character in honkai. Just saying honkai do be letting you play some dudes just not many.
@@scarletrose8766 I'm a husbando player, so hi3 that is full of waifus is definitely not for me.
@@jsisjsbshhsjsjs6489 ah ok theres are hot guys in honkai sadly cause of CN players who refuse male characters to be playable yeah you can blame em
I love honkai more. The story is just.. Nothing can compete..
The difference is in Genshin you can't play dead characters. But in Honkai, you can
(For now)
ELYSIAN REALM BABY
lmao so true : 💀
"With good resource mamagement you can get the full list of characters in the free to play scenario."
Bro never played genshin😭
First genshin visuals compared to honkai are actually bad the very 1st point of world and graphics is that world wise exploration genshin wins but graphics and visuals wise honkai wins. So i do say both get a point on the 1st part
50/50's dont exist in honkai except for the starter banner 🤷♀️
And both of those arent even bad either you get the best fire dps or the best Physical support
@@scarletrose8766 Yeah Senti can be a budget DPS too, and she YATTA!
@@guy.1 I still dont have my senti so im focusing on saving up for ai chan i dont have enough for both currently i need to get my story truckin for more crystals i have HoF so imma need Ai Chan regardless
I saw someone mention events and I remembered a problem with genshin, it’s not very friendly to newer players, the ads show a beautiful forest that they won’t see for ages, and events the won’t get to play until a certain ar
Too bad
Speaking of events my only issue with genshin only one ...... There are lore locked behind special events that new player wont get to see ever cause that event is done im like why put a lore into the game locked behind an event thats not coming back.
See genshin channels make Honkai related video “oh I already know how is it going”
The sumeru archon quests went hard
Dint they have to call in the honkai team for sumeru story line or so i heard cant remember.
Mihoyo chilling in the back after making both games
Fr
Genshin has a severe lack of endgame content, where as honkai has weekly and 3 day rotations of end game stuff that pretty much guarantees a crap ton of f2p crystals from elysian realm Finality, superstring dimensions and memorial arena
Fair enough...but i think both have their own specialty and weaknesses so i wanted to respect other people's taste by saying both equally great in their own way
Just depends on what type of games the person who’s playing likes. For me genshin wins in all regards just bc I know how to play way better and it’s just more fun to me
If you have the criteria of a 10 year old child and like a dead game with no content and no objectives yes, depends.
@@evilmiyoho6742 whats a dead game with no content-???
As a genshin player, i dont rlly like Honkai's battle and exploring stuff... No offense yall! But i feel wayyyyy more free in genshin, and ig it just feels different.
For me, honkai will always be superior
I think both equally great (in their own way) but i respect your opinion
@@senatorarmstrong3308 i agree. I dislike Genshin but it's a good game.
I disagree with the first point. Honkai cutscenes look so much better than anything has to offer and it’s not even comparable
no , genshin lore is so fucking deep and good
But Honkai lore is the deepest
- i prefer fantasy over mecha ,idk mecha just feels like ass to mee , the only reason i like pubg nore than any other batttle royal coz it wasn't that mechanic unlike other games with laserblasters , same reason ( pubg got way more realistics animations and graphics than the other battle royals)
- honkai is better in story at the moment , genshin is slow paced , still have hope , but yea not gonn expect anything from the story , 3.2 was good tho!
Idk what you mean with simular rates.0.6 against 1.5 with no 50 50 seems different. Gear is also easier to get in honkai.
The normie with no criteria:
I tried Honkai a while ago and didn’t like the gameplay but love Genshin’s so I guess that’s just a person preference
Have you tried out herrscher of sentience?
I like how people are comparing a 6 year old game to a 2 year old game.
If we compare them with the two year old honkai there would not be much difference (at least in the points that he said)
It comes to taste in the end but as a seasoned player in both I can tell, the grind in Genshin is boring but at the least every new set of gear is free, stigmas are gacha in Honkai and those which are grindable will take literally months to farm just 1 set of 3 pieces, he also mentions that most valks are easier to get, which is true but biased, most valks are useless now due to extreme powercreep and those who are left really need at the least their signature weapon and many will also need gear if you expect yourself to be competitive since Honkai is all about edgame after lvl 81, I think Honkai would be more popular if it wasn't so hard on F2P/small spenders since it's a great game, this comes from someone who whaled and had a lot of fun but now I don't feel motivation for it anymore for the previous reasons, meanwhile I can have a lot of fun in Genshin as a small spender
Yet Genshin has no content.
Ive never spent in honkai, im lvl 87 and im still not bored
Tbh i find genshins combat for it not being a combat game kind of better just because in honkai u can like spam a button on one character and just like do nothing it doesnt feel as challanging as in genshin
You sure about that means you havent reach red lotus exalted yet one button eh boy you better be learning character rotation in honkai otherwise you aint surviving abyss.
@@scarletrose8766 that's why I didn't do the breakthrough yet🤣🤣🤣 he didn't understand that...

Interesting fact: Genshin impact's WIP name was Honkai Impact 4
idk how is this battle when honkai literally have many visual, animated, story and first before genshin no cap

I don't get why even try to give arguments for Honkai in combat when there are none. Like that is a part where genshin wins however you look at it
Honkai impact is the favorite child for hoyo and genshin is the child that has to provide for the family
If you ask me, the grind in both games is pretty brutal. It takes me way too long to forge a set of stigmata for someone, not to mention getting the Honkai cubes needed to level up weapons.
I'm level 73 in Honkai Impact and AR 56 in Genshin, and here's my burning hot take:
Genshin's combat system is more fun that Honkai Impact
Genshin's combat feels much more refined and polished and this is shown even better during the Scaramouche boss fight.
Honkai Impact feels extremely button-mashy.
No. Honkai's combat is far better. And that is not subjective.
@@evilmiyoho6742 it's subjective,
Thank you for considering both pros and cons of each game instead of shitting on just one of them
For me i prefer the fantasy setting in genshin more than mecha.
And higher the valkyr level, the less they crit.
fun fact: the two games were made by the same company like theyere both made by hoyoverse
Genshin abyss : 😃
Honkai abyss : 😦
For me it's the opposite lmao can't stand Genshin abyss maybe it's because I hate Genshin combat
Free to play that can get all the characters? No shot, at least on genshin. I can assure you as a 1st day player that stopped playing around patch 2.6. It's just not possible to get the 5 stars you want unless you save an ungodly amount of months, playing everyday
Why should we just settle for ONE game ? Also, try both for yourself instead of listening to someone, we all have different taste
And Genshin is bad taste.
@@evilmiyoho6742 why? Because YOU don't like it?
I tried Honkai several times but I can’t bring myself to get addicted to it. I’ve quit and returned many times and I think the wishing system in Honkai is harder than Genshin, moreover it requires a lot of grinding to get the character you want and the rewards arent that great. It makes me burn out very fast.
From what I've seen I think the cutscenes in honkai are WAYYY better than genshins, genshins cutscenes feel a little too human for a bunch of anime characters (maybe it's just me?)
Cutscene in GI is crash when play in laptop but cutscene in HI3rd is smooth when play.
damn this.. this is accurate but i think the biggest point is if you want open world go genshin and if you want fast combat go honkai
For me, Genshin's battle system is the best i've ever played.
I 100% agree Elemental reactions is quite unique and fun
