Devious Diesel is sent to do a job on the Ffarquhar branchline when no other engines are available; on his way he meets Toby and decides to mock him and say he looks like a coach. One thing leads to another, and Diesel ends up on the receiving end of the joke!

'Diesel Becomes A Coach,' so this story I had written around Christmas time, probably just before I wrote the Duncan story actually! I ended up going with this because I've decided on making a 3 part kind of story in a way for Diesel. The first story would be Diesel Makes His Mark which I will link;
• Thomas & Friends - Die...
Then, there will be this story, and finally a third story to round things off... Maybe a fourth, but I'm not just sure yet xD
The way I came up with this story was by coming across a page on the wikia actually called Diesel Becomes A Coach. It literally has the briefest of plots lined out with no version of the original story or anything, and instantly I just wanted to write it! Here's a link to the page;

Hopefully I gave this story a little bit of justice? Because if I'm honest I am very very proud of this video.

6:51 I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love this video showing how Devious Diesel became a coach for a short time AFTER running out of fuel not long AFTER very rudely calling Toby the Tram Engine a coach himself! Also, apparently for another fact is basically that I've personally noticed that we get to hear from Diesel's driver for the very first time in history! Diesel's driver actually did make appearances throughout several montages in the show's very own complete full CGI animated era like the official well-known episode titled Diesel & the ducklings from the show's very own complete full CGI animated era's entire 20th season giving Diesel a wash @ the wash-down AFTER Diesel bumped into Percy the Small Engine as I've seen on my fire stick! In fact, George Carlin certainly had actually mentioned Diesel's driver in the official season 3 episode titled Diesel Does It Again on my fire stick as well as on my DVD titled Thomas Gets Bumped featured in my collection of movies on DVD/Blu-ray where most of 'em are basically DVD movies! I've especially wanted to also apparently for another fact of mentioning that I personally think that the person who voiced Diesel's driver in this video certainly would BASICALLY ALSO DEFINITELY make a wonderful voice for Diesel's driver in the show's very own complete full CGI animated series seeing that he's ACTUALLY got a very specifically positive attitude as he's actually considered to be exactly 100% very friendly with having good manners in all! Speaking of which, it's completely obviously clear that I personally got a hunch that Diesel's driver certainly MUST'VE gone over to Percy the Small Engine to generously apologize for the bump Diesel gave him on the morning following the day he returned for another trial on the North Western Railway to help 2 tank engines with their work @ a harbor as to also apparently just suddenly before bumping some freight cars really hard to make the cargo fly everywhere as well as on the following day when he pushed some China Clay filled cars into the ocean!
6:51 I've especially wanted to mention that I personally ❤ how Diesel's driver certainly had scolded Diesel throughout several montages in this video as well as Diesel's driver politely asking Thomas' driver to help push Diesel to somewhere that he can refill his own tank with more diesel fuel!

It's funny, in the story Fire Engine James is said to look like a fire engine, and he's good at roasting Diesel

Yes, for some odd reason when I bought him he came with red buffers! Very odd, but I'm pretty sure it was a factory error on a lot of Diesel's that were being bought at the time :P
