    -Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 1-1/2 tsp
    -Sounf (Fennel seeds) 1 tbsp
    -Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2
    -Jaifil (Nutmeg) Javatri (Mace) ½ tsp
    -Haldi (Turmeric) 1 tsp
    -Salt (Namak) to taste
    -Adrak lahsun powder (Garlic/ ginger powder) 1-1 tbsp
    -Lal mirch (Red chili powder) 1 tbsp
    -Sirka (Vinegar) 3 tbsp
    -Olive Oil 1 tbsp
    -Pani (water) 1/2 cup
    -Pani (Water) 1 tbsp
    -zafran/kesar (Saffron) a pinch
    -Zarda ka rang (Yellow/ red food color) 1 pinch or as required
    -Pani (Water) 2 liter
    Mandi Rice:
    -Oil 2 tbsp
    -Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 medium
    -Tamatar (Tomato) 1 paste
    -Zeera (Cumin seed) 1 tsp
    -Hari mirch (Green chilies) 5-6
    -Chawal (Rice 3 Cups (soaked 1 hour)
    -Sukha limon (Dried lemon) 2
    -Yakhni (Stock) 4 Cups
    -Namak (Salt) Adjust
    -Koyla (Charcoal) for smoke
    FOR SERVING:
    -Fried almond (Badam)
    -Fried raisins (Khishmish)
    -Friend cashews (Kajoo)
    -Boiled eggs (Anday)
