- I got a new shop card from @T-DawgsModelCars and a cool resin gas pump. We also take a look at another antique store model kit find, and the 57 Ford custom project progresses.

T-Dawg's a really great guy, praying for him. Great gifts, Eric. Looks like a pretty cool kit.
Thanks, John!
Great shout out and a nice mpc kit. Stay cool and enjoy your weekend 👍
Thank you, you too!
Prayers go out to T-Dog
Thank you!
Nice update. The purple will look great! Happy Modeling ~ Cory
Thanks, Cory!
Great video and shoutout Eric. I really like the MPC Firebird kit. Very cool! Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day! 😀👍🏻
Thank you, brother!
Hi Eric. In 1977 or 78 , or 79...i bought the mpc 69 firebird kit. Nice boxart. I have the complete kit now. In 2018 i bought a real 68 firebird. A dream comes true. Many thanks for video. Lry
@@user-sw1kk7om2j Nice! A friend of mine in high school had a 67. Fun car! Thanks for watching!
Morning Eric , Great video and nice gifts.
Sending Sincere Prayers for TDawg and Family,
That gas pump is neat I need to grab me one for my diorama.
As a Modeler I have learned so kit kit brands are way better than another but
It doesn't matter to me anymore because I know I can make the best out of it so I like all brands 😅
That's a nice 69 kit , I love the way a vintage kit smell 😅
Have fun with it.
That 57 ford is going to be sweet 🔥🔥
Thanks! The gas pump is very cool👍 They have a whole line of diorama products.
Cool stuff bud the little gas pump is neat.
Thanks, Phil!
Happy b-day, Eric
The gas pump is really cool. What a thoughtful gift from the wife.
Thanks for the look at the old Firebird. You are correct about it being a 250 and not a 225. If it has a 4-barrel on it, it's the W53 "Sprint" engine which made a very respectable 230 HP straight out of the showroom. It would be a cool engine to build with with some kind of wild induction for a "Dare to be different" roadster build.
Thanks, Red! That engine would be really cool for an extra curricular project. That would look good in the old MPC 32 Chevy roadster😃 Thanks for the info on the ohc 6👍
Looks cool. 🚗
Thanks!
Prayers sent for Tony 🙏
Cool gas pump, Happy Birthday Eric 🎉
The extreme lacquer is a nice paint, they make a, wet look clear, I've used it, Mr hobby clear, Tamiya clear and 2K over it, no issues, 😎👍
Thanks, Tom! This is my first adventure in spraying lacquer, if that's how I go. Thanks for the tips on the clear👍
That White Lightening is in super great condition especially the decals. MPC are challenging but they make the most interesting subject matter kits. Have fun with this one. Your custom car body looks very kool.😊
Thanks, David! Actually, MPC has been one of my favorite brands for that reason, the subject matter, somewhat like Jo Han.
Awesome firebird kit. I hope you build it!. That 57’ would look awesome I think in old school black, shiny shiny black with a 1960’s flame job on the front like we would see in Hot Rod magazine back in the 60’s and 70’s… back when it didn’t hurt to move!!! Great video!
Thanks, John!
A nice haul for Fathers Day. I like model kits, "period," MPC did some kits that "NO ONE," repeat, "NO ONE," else has. I have found nothing wrong with any of their kits, other than being "over simplified." Still, a kit is a kit. I for one am glad to have built them. I like kits! I am a builder! (not a collector!) any how, Your custom is looking real wild! I like what Your doing with it! Kinda reminds me of Snoopy, his early days, HA! Thank You for sharing! Take Care, Be Safe, God Bless, Later
I agree with you fully on the kits, Russell. I've had some new ideas pop up for the Ford project, so we'll see where it goes. Thanks for watching!
Great bench update Eric. I think the purple would be awesome on the 57. Ron
Thanks, Ron!
RED TOP/PURPLE BODY 2-K clear on your krazy-F-57 😀👍🏻👍🏻
That could look really cool👍 Thanks for the input!
We'll definitely be sending kneemails (prayers) over them, and I'll go check his channel out 🙏 That's a cool old kit, I hadn't seen that specific release of it, nice find! The '57 is looking cool! ✌️😁
Thanks so much!
Nice video. The Testors extreme lacquer is good paint. I they make a wet look clear as well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Michael! I'm looking into some of the testors extreme lacquers for sure👍
I’m liking the Firebird. The kit isn’t great, but it’s cool that that car was only 9 years old when that kit was released. Funny calling that gas pump old. When I think of old gas pumps, I envision the tall ones with the glass discombobulators on the tops of them.
I can agree on the old gas pump description. I guess in an age where almost everything is plastic, anything metal seems "old" 😂 Thanks, David!
Candy orange over candy red. Nice find on that Firebird.
Thanks for the input!👍
Cool video mate👍
Thank you!
Nice video Eric
Thanks, Tim!👍👍
@@ericsmodelgarage 🙂
Great find I have ‘69 GT F-bird a incomplete kit with a torn box thumbs up Eric
Thanks, Dutch! I can definitely say this is a kit that I've never had.
I found my ‘69 fb kit in a junk pile that I bought on eBay among some other junk.
Check out those decals!
They are definitely A-1👍
That white lighting kit is basically a 69 Trans Am. I remember back in the day when MPC put those Blue streak tires in everything.
There's just something about these old kits👍
Great video. Thanks for sharing this. I don’t know that AK Interactive made 1:25 scale accessories. Super neat! Just subbed.
Thank you, Sir! Much appreciated👍👍
awesome video !! just subbed ya !!
Thanks! Welcome aboard👍
Hey brother. First of all, thank you so much for the shout out , kind words and all the prayers. We love you and your channel as well. Second, you’re correct about the Pontiac OHC 6 cylinder is a 250 cubic inch engine! Awesome stuff! Build on brother!
You're very welcome, brother. May God bless you all richly and provide for your every need.🙏
@@ericsmodelgarage God bless you brother.
All the mpc naysayers should built old vintage revell kits then complain
I 100% agree!
