Enjoyed this...a welcome return, good to see you back! Was wondering if you've ever had a look at Clogwyn Goch mine, at Clogwyn D'ur Arddu on Yr Wyddfa. When I was a teenager - so this would be the seventies - I remember accessing two entrances quite high up on the cliff above the path, one went in a reasonably long way then we realised we were on a false floor, freaked and got out. I sent some chisels and things to the National Museum of Wales, and got a very nice letter back. The rumour back then was that it had connected with the Nantperis mine, but I doubt it, it would be a very long way.
