You really filled a missing void in the yugituber community by giving us this treasured, almost lost info on on old tcg products. And personally, I dig the TP1 & TP2 vanillas because they look nostalgic just like old SDK, MRD cards. Cute and edgy artwork that looks nostalgic at first but most of us have never seen these cards before in person. Like the Dragon #2 that u mentioned.
All of these cards are super nostalgic, even the commons. They’re all the cards you’d start out with in games like Eternal Duelist Soul and Dawn of Destiny

Small correction: TP2 was around PSV's release, not MRD. TP1 was released close to MRD.
Just completed my TP1 set earlier this year and have a handful of TP2 and 3 commons and rares. As a more casual collector, idk if I'll ever be able to actually afford to complete any of the other sets unfortunately

I remember buying a TP2 box off ebay or like $150 in 2005 or 2006.. second to last packed I pulled Morphing Jar lol. I was going nuts! Short time later I bought a TP8 box and pulled the Magical Arm Shield.. unfortunely in 07 I traded those and the super rares from the sets to a kid in the card shop. Good memories for sure! Loved the tournament packs.

Mech chaser was such a pain in the ass to play against. This kid at my locals had a deck just ro flex. 3 chasers, 3 needle worms, and 3 morphing jars. Was a decent deck but more of a pain in the ass to olay against.
I never had a great card pulled from Tournament packs. But I traded with a kid for a Morphing Jar #1 when he didn't need it. It was one of the best card I ever used for my card destruction deck back in the 2000s. Another kid pulled a Morphing Jar #1 again but I didn't trade for it. I should have done it and kept the 2nd one as a display because I used the 1st one too much. I think if i were to grade my MK #1, it would be like a 8 of 10 condition. And to think that I used to collect sports cards before playing Yugioh, I should have been smarter and kept majority of my old cards for collections.
I still have a few Yugioh cards and will likely put them on display in the future just for good old times again.
Youre prolly the godliest ygo collector on earth. Is there anyone with a more insane collection than you? Serious question.

This is an incredible collection! I wish I actually played more in tournaments back then to get these cards. Actually got back into playing in May this year and last week, I pulled my first UTR, Skill Drain, which is what I needed. Awesome! Haha.
Would love to see more of the TP sets you have and the history of them. Also would love to see more Promo cards/packs that were done in the past.

I stopped collecting the OCG and TCG main series after GX, I do like some of the 5DS series, but not a lot, to be honest. However, Tournament Pack distributed packs to ODS are sets I am trying to complete.

just a correction on the tp8 duster , theres 1 higher value print that goes for over $1k easily in NM the Spanish TFK Video game promo version, but tp8 is the highest english version of the card

The one thing I hate that Konami did was the reprints after TP2. I feel they got lazy adding all the original 4 ultras as super & most of the C&R’s as reprints.
