Just purchased your test files and wow. Just when i thought i would give up you gave me hope. Thank you for the time you took to explain and demonstrate this sample. Very descriptive helpful and educational. I found this video with the help of the file to be 100% a must.

Your setup looks like mine when I visit my son's house.... normally I set up a table and tent if necessary and cut outside my campervan.
Hi, You say that you can't use transparent Acrylic but in their Premimum kit there is transparent acrylic with the M1. I don't understand why they would inclued something that doesn't work with the machine? Did you try it out?

So what was the best setting? Did it cut the main rectangle part out better than the squares?
Yay!! ❤ I just got my new 100Watt laser and can’t wait to get it up and running!! Can you cut clear if you leave the paper on it? Mine comes with brown paper on both sides.
Wow how exciting! Yea the diode laser still can’t cut clear even with the paper masking on it.
@@AmyMade Oh that’s so weird. I would think it could since it’s brown but I don’t have a diode so I’m completely unfamiliar. ❤️ I’m going to be offering acrylic blanks in my shop soon, I can’t wait!! Also blank wood kits. Currently, I only sell the SVG for my files. I’m excited to expand my little business! ❤️
Yea the diode laser goes right through transparent material without cutting. However you can engrave if you put a layer of marking tape or dark paint on it
You can cut Acrylic through the paper but sometimes the paper gets difficult to get off the Acrylic easily, especially if the Acrylic is is old or not freshly made. The paper will keep the Acrylic from attracting the smoke and then having to clean it off. A 100 watt CO2 laser or fiber optic l;aser shouls cut acrylic easily.
The cover paper adhesive gets very difficult to remove with periods of storage time. Years ago I used to able to get scrap Acrylic pieces of sheet of various thickness and sizes and colors from a local supplier for our local high shop class students for projects, just for the asking! Now there are no more high school shop classes, just another sign how bad our education system has gotten, no shop, no home economics and sometimes no art or music classes either. Amazing how sports (the most useless of extra curricular activities for most kids) always survives and of all those others just disappear often. Sad!!
@@johnkemas7344 That’s what I was thinking too but only owning CO2 lasers, I wasn’t sure. I figured the paper may make a difference but again, wasn’t sure. The paper is hard to get off no matter how old it is lol 😂 I’m always struggling 🤦🏼♀️ I love using acrylic for a lot of my projects. I use white a lot for my keychains and sublimate on it! I agree about shop classes in schools. I was just talking about that the other day, about how I’d always find my boyfriend fixing his car in auto shop during lunch! Bring back the shop classes! Teach kid’s responsibilities, every day life stuff! ☺️

Hi, Really helpful video as I’m just awaiting delivery of my M1 machine & intend cutting & engraving acrylic sheet. One question, the link for the honeycomb laser bed on Amazon just takes you to the home page. Can you please tell me the seller’s name & the size of the bed, eg 400 x 400 mm ? Also I noticed you put some, I’m assuming aluminium sheet under the bed to protect the work surface, is that right & what thickness? Thanks & I’ve subscribed to your channel 👍
Thank you, I got the ouyzgia brand 300x300. A standard kitchen aluminum foil was used to protect the base plate.

Unfortunately no. That’s just not how diode laser works
